Stop including McAfee in the installer.
Ditch McAfee. Windows defender, Malware Bytes, and Symantec are what I use, and I hate having to uninstall McAfee after accidentally installing it.

Absolutely nobody wants or needs Mcafee stuff installed - at all - let alone alongside a PDF reader!
We use Adobe AEM for our clients, to publish sensitive documents with DRM applied. Our clients have no choice but to install Acrobat Reader to view those documents, as no other app supports the AEM encryption/authentication. I can't tell you how many clients have complained about Mcafee getting installed alongside Reader. The options to avoid it are too easy to miss. It's infuriating, and frankly unethical, to install something so invasive by default, and to not even provide an option to disable it in the installer package itself.

Right-click the McAfee icon at the bottom-right corner of your Windows Desktop.
Select Change settings > Real-time Scanning from the menu.
In the Real-Time Scanning status window, click the Turn off button.
You can now specify when you want Real-Time Scanning to resume.
