At home I'm only using acrobat to read PDF game instructions. At work, I'm only using acrobat to read Government form instructions. In both scenarios I am accessing content created by other people and I do not need to edit the file. Just read and search. In both scenarios I also have a lot of other windows taking up room on my three monitors and the space taken up by the All Tools is not negligible until it's closed. I use Acrobat Reader on a vertical display and the All Tools left-hand pane takes up a huge portion of the window and shrinks the document I'm viewing which is set to zoom by page-width. I don't want to close the toolbar or press Ctrl+H to enter Read Mode every time I open a document. I managed to get the right-hand pane to automatically close by default, but this annoying All Tools pane on the left consistently shows up no matter what settings I try to set including "Remember current state of Tools Pane" and "Restore last view settings when reopening documents".
