Keeping Spam out of this Forum
I came here to report an Acrobat Reader DC bug, but first tried searching to see if anyone else has reported it. To my dismay, I discovered that this forum is stuffed full of spam which indicates to me that no one actually reads what is being posted; because if someone were reading these posts, they would remove the obvious spam.
If you aren't going to remove the spam yourself, at least you could put a "Report As Spam" button on each post and likewise keep a spam counter for each post which is incremented each time the "Report As Spam" button is pressed from a unique IP or by a unique user. Once the spam counter exceeds a threshold level, the post will be deleted automatically. In other words, let your community of users collectively act to remove spam.
And yes, I am aware of the irony of making a request when I doubt that anyone is paying attention. Call me a hopeless optimist.
