Use certificate->Digitally sign workflow works with Windows but fails with Mac
I want to sign a document with Acrobat Reader using my national ID-card but I am getting the "the credential selected for signing is invalid" error
The same workflow I have been successfully using on my old Windows computer, but now I am using Mac and cant make it work with that.
I start the workflow by choosing Tools->Use certificate->Digitally sign. Similarly with the Windows workflow a PIN is requested, but in Mac an authentication PIN is requested not the signing PIN. If I enter the authentication PIN then this message is shown "the credential selected for signing is invalid"
The id card I am using is https://www.id.ee/en/
The Environment producing the error:
macOS Sonoma 14.5
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Architecture: arm64
Processor: Apple M3
Build: 24.2.20759.0
AGM: 7.1.5
CoolType: 9.1.0
JP2K: 4.0.2.54782
Web eID
Version 2.5.0+647
DigiDoc4 Client
Version 4.5.1.4455
The environment that is working correctly:
Windows 10 Pro
Version 22H2
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Version 2024.002.20759
AMG Version 7.001.00005|64-bit
CoolType Version 8.003.00006|64-bit
Core Version 24.512|64-bit
JP2K Version 4.000.00002.54782|64-bit
Token signing
Version 1.1.5.0
eID software
Version 24.4.0.1947
Expected result is that during the signing process Adobe Acrobat Reader will ask for the PIN2 that is meant for signing not the PIN1 that is meant for authentication.
Observers result is that after inserting correct PIN1 Reader will give the following error message: "the credential selected for signing is invalid"
