An error occurred while saving the comment Uwe Laubender commentedHi Ahusain,
tried uninstalling, reinstalling Acrobat Pro DC with the CC Desktop app. Still I am not able to install the update.Next step: Will try to set the registry key as you suggested.
Will come back to report if all went well.
Thanks,
Uwe Laubender

Also: I'm currently signed in with the Adobe Forum with a different Adobe ID than my CC Account is running. Could that be the core problem?

" If your product is not already updated, you can manually do so from within the product. Click on the menu Help-> Check for updates."Tried that and the "update failed". Got exactly that error message.
Went to: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/update-errors-acrobat-reader-windows.htmlThere was no specific error number. I'm on Creative Cloud. The helpx page is for perpetual versions only, I think.
Should I uninstall Acrobat Pro DC and reinstall through the Creative Cloud Desktop App?
German Windows 10 machine.

I see also issues on Windows 10.
What I can do: Set up old PhotoShop CS6 as editing tool for pixel images.
Cannot do this with PhotoShop 2022.
Don't know if that matters: PhotoShop CS6 is installed on my C: volume and PhotoShop 2022 is installed on my F: volume on the same machine.
