  1. Because I have to work many times on a multitude of opened pdf files that I need to keep open for days in a row, I think a feature to restore previous session of opened documents (just like Firefox or Google Chrome) would be really helpful!

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us for you conerns.

We already have it implemented in Reader.
Do “File” → “Reopen PDFs from last session.” And that should restore all the pdfs that were present in you last session at the time of Quiting the application.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  2. The idea is to be able to change the position of the navigation pane from
the left side to the the right side of the screen.

This would be useful when making presentations and using the thumbnail view to advance pages forward instead of scrolling which can sometimes be difficult to control.

  3. Originate loans (OL) is a .Net based Digital loan origination solution suite
The software uses active PDF documents for form generation on loan applications
The editable PDF documents containing mapped PDF fields are uploaded into the software and these documents (forms) are populated with loan application data from the software.
The filled forms are stored in DB in encoded varbinary format.
The application UI presents links to each document on a loan app.
On clicking this link, the document is opened in a PDF viewer. (varbinary stream is decoded and response is flushed by the app to IE PDF viewer)…

  4. (i guess someone asked long time ago. but seems buried alive)
add "copy link location" to adobe reader DC, when right click over a link in a pdf.
why? this is a standard feature in most 2020 windows applicatoin. if adobe does not do it, i go somewhere else. adobe reader dc is not the only pdf reader in the world.

  5. I installed the latest version Reader DC on a Windows 7 64-bit pc, fater the old version freezed after some seconds. But the result is always the same, the new installation always freeze after few seconds.
I tryed a new installation from scratch, restarted many times, disinstalled DC some times, used the Acrobat Cleaner tool, tryed to correct the installation, but nothing worked, DC always freezes and I have to kill it.
The dump files below were collected at the same time (there were two AcroRd32.exe processes running at the same time, I do not know if this is normal).

  6. Windows Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2020.009.20074 inconsistently fails to convert our PDF data to a viable Excel file. When it fails instead of creating an All-Borders grid around the data, it will create a Picture of the border box and clump the data together in a jumble below.

As we use macro's to manipulate the converted data, this obviously presents a problem to us.

We have captured some files during the conversion process, and made a Word conversion of our data to check it - and what we found makes us wonder where this may be coming from.

    Process Step:…

  7. It is already extremely annoying to hide elements in Acrobat.

For reasons only known to your idiot design team, you persist in the view that the UI MUST BE RESET ON EVERY DOCUMENT LOAD.

I read > 30 PDFs in a DAY. FOR EVERY ONE, I have to hide elements of the UI (typically the left side). EVERY F*** PDF.

Today I find that hitting Ctrl-Home re-displays the full left bar.
    WHY.
WHO THINKS THIS IS A GREAT IDEA - Lets re-purpose a standard document navigation key into a UI state change.
PG UP to the top page does the…

  10. Please, make a side tool to show list of text higlighted ( when we can read the text highlighted too ). it would be great if this list was ordered by pages and show page and chapter.

This option would permit me study better documents with highlighted text and comments... it would be perfect.

  11. I know that a lot of programs are switching towards a tab-based structure when opening several files at a time. But it sometimes is very handy to be able to open several PDFs in several windows. I know that this is possible by rightclicking the file etc., but I miss a setting that opens PDFs be default in a new window - and not in a new tab.

Can there be some kind of "setting" that says:
O - open PDFs in new tabs
X - open PDFs in new windows

  12. Since using Adobe Reader DC for PC, the last few updates have only increased the number of clicks required to do basic tasks. When saving a document, with either the CTRL + S key press or selecting Save from the file tree, there doesn't seem to be any necessity to have the window attached pop up. It's a similar feature to Office programs now, and really only makes the process take longer. Clicking on Choose a Different Folder just brings up the same save options we had in the past. This just creates more steps and wastes time.

    To be…

  14. I keep getting scans from teachers of things that i am supposed to read but they scan them with the book open and it is super obnoxious to read. I am trying to figure out how to split the pages in half but the split function seems to split by pages not literally split the PDF in half by OCR ing the page and seeing the middle where the crease is separate. Its weird that the adobe scan app for my phone is better than acrobat dc

  15. Until recently, you could close the Adobe Reader window (the one showing Recent, Starred, Scans, etc down the left side) with COMMAND-W. While you can still use COMMAND-W to close a PDF file, inexplicably this function no longer works with the Adobe Reader window. In workflow this is ridiculously annoying; I hit COMMAND-W to close my PDF window but then I have to go hunting for the CLOSE button to click on for the Adobe Reader window. At least, I am assuming this is a bug; I can't imagine someone purposefully enabling this highly obnoxious and laborious "feature" into the…

  16. should have more pages view example 4 or 6 pages per view as some users use big screen and they can easily fit them using this feature instead of trying to use the zoom function.
and perhaps to make the toolbar icons fit exactly and not have so much borders size

  17. "Checked" radiobutton value is only working in Acrobat Reader when:

First radio button value is "0".
Radio button values are consecutive integers.

  20. Dear Adobe team, please add adobe scan to Microsoft Surface Pro (X).

At the moment, in order to use Adobe scan, you need to use your cell phone and then upload the scan to the cloud.

On the one hand this is very time consuming, on the other hand it requires an active internet connection, which cannot always be guaranteed, especially when you are not at home.

With an integration of Adobe Scan on Surface Pro (X), you could make very fast professional scans offline.

I know that you have added Adobe Scan to the iPad, which could be compared…
