BUG - Read Out Loud Not Reading Text
From what I have determined, a recent update (likely 25.1 on Windows 11) made the read out loud function easier to access but broke its functionality. Now, all of my pdfs regardless of whether they are a scan, PDF/A standard compliant, or gone under OCR are read by Adobe Acrobat read out loud as "Empty Page." It is clear from the edit mode and when converting to word that Acrobat recognizes characters and words but when activating read out loud, none of that information seems to be processed.

Bug Report - Expanding exe package fails to extract msp file
When using the file from https://ardownload3.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/AcrobatDC/2500120756/AcroRdrDCx642500120756_MUI.exe
executing the command
.\AcroRdrDCx642500120756MUI.exe -sfxo"C:\Temp\Files" -sfx_neresults in a 0 byte AcroRdrDCx64Upd2500120756_MUI.msp file.
When running the extracted Setup.exe, the installer will fail with exit code 1636.Workaround is to open AcroRdrDCx642500120756_MUI.exe with 7zip and manually extract the msp file.
This was not an issue with AcroRdrDCx642500120577_MUI.exe

BUG: Acrobat crashes when opening PDFs from shared iCloud Drive folders on macOS 26.0.1.
Acrobat version 25.x crashes on macOS 26.0.1 when opening PDFs that are stored in shared iCloud Drive folders. The same PDFs open correctly in Preview, Chrome, or when copied to Desktop or to a non shared iCloud folder. The issue happens every time with any file in a shared iCloud folder, so it is fully reproducible.
Environment:
macOS 26.0.1 (25A362)
MacBook Pro M2 Max, 96 GB RAM
Acrobat 25.001.20841 (latest version as of November 2025)
Steps to reproduce:
Save any valid PDF into an iCloud Drive folder that is shared with another Apple ID.

Allow User to Adjust Appearance of Digital Signature Before Saving
Adobe should make the "Use a certificate" method in Reader be a two-part process:
The first part allows the user to place the signature graphic and adjust it until it's just right
The second part should be the "Sign" button that actually locks the the graphic in place and digitally signs the file, opening the save file prompt.The problem:

Bug report: Background Processes not closing exiting Adobe
Since upgrading a large number PC to Win 11, Adobe background process does not always close on exiting Adobe and won't relaunch without either killing the background process or rebooting the PC. Allow Text Translation in Edge Even When Adobe PDF Tools Are Active
When viewing PDF files in Microsoft Edge, I often rely on the built-in translation feature that allows me to select text and instantly translate it. However, after installing Adobe Acrobat (or Adobe Studio), the Adobe extension overrides Edge’s native PDF viewer, and this translation functionality becomes unavailable.
I believe it would be highly beneficial if Adobe and Microsoft could collaborate to ensure that translation features remain accessible even when Adobe’s PDF tools are active within the browser. Ideally, users should be able to select and translate text regardless of which viewer is being used.

undo form
Undo (ctrl-z) does nothing while using Fill & Sign.
Add a text box, fill in text, then click outside it. Nothing happens I assume. I did this 3-4 times, then clicked on signature to add that. Signature image was added, but then it lost focus. I guessed it might have gone behind the form itself. So I try to ctrl-z to undo my last actions (standard ctrl shortcut on Windows for undo). Nothing happens.
And I don't see a menu option for undo either. Every action will be manual during Fill & Sign? Why even claim it helps anything? I…

Windows Accessibility tools not available

Newest Version not Printing all Pictures
DC Sep 2025 Version 25.001.20744 will not print all pictures. We have downgraded to DC Sep 2025 Version 25.001.20693, opened the same document, and all pictures print. No other settings were changed. This is on a windows 11 machine. We are printing to a Xerox AltaLink C8245 with the PS driver.

Name for AI
I coach AI as a job.
I think Adobe should name their AI agents (we can all agree its probably the same one) dependent on the program used to access it.
Eg-Acro (branded, gender neutral) or Betty (cute, alliterative - Betty the acroBat) for the acrobat reader program, for an image give it a cartoon bat with glasses/holding a file in its paws.
This sort of update helps users personify and interact with AI in a calmer way.
