Feedback on Acrobat e-sign workflow and subscription model
I’d like to share feedback based on a recent real use case.
I subscribed to Acrobat (trial) solely to review and sign a single PDF contract. During the process, I encountered confusing behavior around signature warnings and version switching (e.g. being forced into a “signed version” where all editing and signing were disabled, with instructions to “save a copy” but no clear or usable way to do so).
As a non-frequent user, it was difficult to understand the document state or how to proceed, even after following on-screen guidance. The friction was high enough that I canceled the trial despite…

Bug: remove or cover up sensitive text
After drawing a dark rectangle over some text in order to block out some sensitive data, it looks like it disappeared on the screen. Although then saving the file and re-opening the file, the blocked out text is not visible BUT the blocked out text is still selectable and can be copied and pasted. A user would expect that if a blank box is drawn over something (such as text) that something (such as text) would no longer be there.
I have found no other way to remove or cover up sensitive data.
See uploaded file 'Adobe-Example_edit-save.pdf' there is a…1 vote -
Do you guys actually check hashes after playing, or is it more of a “trust but don’t bother” thing?
I’ve been playing provably fair dice games on and off for a while, mostly for fun, but recently I started wondering if I’m actually using the tools correctly. I get the idea of client seed and server seed, but in practice I just roll and don’t verify every session. Do you guys actually check hashes after playing, or is it more of a “trust but don’t bother” thing? Also curious if anyone has small habits or strategies that helped them stay more disciplined instead of chasing losses.

Suggestion: Custom UI Themes inspired by Geometry Dash aesthetics
Hi,
I think the current Acrobat UI is a bit too "corporate." It would be amazing if Adobe allowed users to apply custom themes or skins.
As a fan of Geometry Dash, I’d love to see a vibrant, neon-style "Dark Mode" similar to the game's aesthetic. Even small icons that react to user interaction (like the icons in GD) would make the PDF reading experience much more engaging for younger users.
Just a thought to modernize the software!1 vote -
Make scrollbar visibility better
Acrobat reader 2025 scrollbar is too narrow and especially the slider location in it very hard to see.
Improve it or give user ability to change the appearance.
Very difficult to understand why it was changed from good to annoying.1 vote -
Updated ADMX file to control Menu>Preferences>General>Always Open PDFs saved from the web.
Create a new ADMx or Customization Wizerd to be used in GPO to control settings for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. In this particular instance, I am looking at managing Menu>Preferences>General>Always Open PDFs saved from the web. By default this is on. We are finding that even when in a Corporate environment and settings are set via GPO preventing Edge or Chrome from opening within browser itself and we have a paid PDF writer software set as default that will open PDF, when clicked on from download within browser Adobe Reader also opens. Traced it back to this exact option. I…

Medical salon
Hello! I am currently looking for a medical spa that offers personalized skin care treatments. I would like to find a place that tailors treatments to the specific needs of my skin, rather than just offering standard masks. I am interested in professional medical treatments, a relaxing atmosphere, and attentive service. Can you tell me where I can find such a medical spa?

Add a "Costa Menu" style feature list to Acrobat
Could Acrobat's UserVoice page have a "Costa Menu"-style section like https://costamenu.uk/ ? Something simple that shows popular tools, new features, and recommended options in a clear menu like the layout. This would help users find features, learn what they do, and vote on ideas without having to search. A friendly, visual menu can make the forum easier to use and more engaging for everyone.

Bug Report - Expanding exe package fails to extract msp file
When using the file from https://ardownload3.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/AcrobatDC/2500120756/AcroRdrDCx642500120756_MUI.exe
executing the command
.\AcroRdrDCx642500120756MUI.exe -sfxo"C:\Temp\Files" -sfx_neresults in a 0 byte AcroRdrDCx64Upd2500120756_MUI.msp file.
When running the extracted Setup.exe, the installer will fail with exit code 1636.Workaround is to open AcroRdrDCx642500120756_MUI.exe with 7zip and manually extract the msp file.
This was not an issue with AcroRdrDCx642500120577_MUI.exe

BUG: Acrobat crashes when opening PDFs from shared iCloud Drive folders on macOS 26.0.1.
Acrobat version 25.x crashes on macOS 26.0.1 when opening PDFs that are stored in shared iCloud Drive folders. The same PDFs open correctly in Preview, Chrome, or when copied to Desktop or to a non shared iCloud folder. The issue happens every time with any file in a shared iCloud folder, so it is fully reproducible.
Environment:
macOS 26.0.1 (25A362)
MacBook Pro M2 Max, 96 GB RAM
Acrobat 25.001.20841 (latest version as of November 2025)
Steps to reproduce:
Save any valid PDF into an iCloud Drive folder that is shared with another Apple ID.
Open that PDF directly from Finder…

Allow User to Adjust Appearance of Digital Signature Before Saving
Adobe should make the "Use a certificate" method in Reader be a two-part process:
The first part allows the user to place the signature graphic and adjust it until it's just right
The second part should be the "Sign" button that actually locks the the graphic in place and digitally signs the file, opening the save file prompt. The problem:
It's difficult to know if you have drawn the correct sized and shaped box that the signature graphic will appear in. You are only able to know if you did it correctly AFTER you have signed the document digitally, and…1 vote -
“View All Pages on Screen” Option in Adobe Acrobat Reader
Dear Adobe Product Team,
I would like to propose the addition of a new feature in Adobe Acrobat Reader—specifically, a “View All Pages on Screen” option within the View menu.
This feature would allow users to view the entire document layout, including all pages, margins, and formatting, within a single screen or overview mode prior to printing. Such functionality would be especially beneficial for professionals handling lengthy documents—often spanning hundreds of pages—who need to verify layout consistency, margin alignment, and overall formatting before initiating print or publication. This feature will also save a lot of wasted paper from pages printed…
