User quota on Adobe sign documents get's spent even though redacted
Steps to reproduce:
* Using a free Adobe account send a document requesting signatures
* Send a second document requesting signatures
* Pull back the first document (Acrobat reader deducts the document from documents sent budget)
* try sending a document (that should take the second document place from the budget)
* Observe how it isn't possible as the backend hasn't deducted "spent documents" when the first document war pulled back.1 vote -

adobe reader for exercise bikes
The idea of adding Adobe Reader to exercise bikes can be an interesting approach to improve the user experience during training. Here are some possible benefits and applications of this idea:
Reading while exercising: Adding Adobe Reader to an exercise bike will allow people to read e-books, magazines, articles or even work documents while exercising. This can encourage more productive training, especially for those looking for a way to combine physical activity with intellectual work or rest.
Training programs and instructions: Adobe Reader can be used to download training materials or fitness instructions that users can view while training. This…

Reader 2023 freezes upon opening a pdf
Recently, any PDF that I open in Adobe Reader causes the image of the pdf to display, but then after a few seconds it goes grey and a white rectangle appears over it. Must use Task Manager to kill Reader. To fix this, following a suggestion on the community forum, I selected 'Disable New Acrobat' in the settings.
Using Windows 10. The Reader version number currently says 2023.008.20470. I don't know if it was the same as this before I did the disable.
Unchecking 'Enable Enhanced Security' had not fixed the problem. Protected View was off. I also tested it…

BUG - Reader displays light "w" letters when using Arial font
Reader 2023.008.20471 64-bit, Windows 11, Word 2019
When I use the Arial font in my document and produce a pdf (doesn't seem to matter how I do that - save as pdf, print to a pdf generator like PrimoPDF), every lowercase "w" is noticeably lighter than the surrounding text with Reader. Displaying the pdf with Chrome, etc. is fine.

Bookmarks dont open
Stop the bookmarks opening automatically every time a PDF is opened. They have to be manually closed every time to provide more space to view the architectural drawing. Its very irritating and a very bad idea to have them opening every time as the default setting. They should be closed unless needed, not open and need closing every time.

Acrobat Reader before Windows 11 used to be more useable. Over time, it has gotten so that I really don't like the interface - now I can't find how to return the navigation buttons at the top. I looked briefly in every visible setting. Adobe reader 2023 is slick, but I don't like it. And I'm someone who has worked with computers since Windows 98. Bring back navigation basics.

Bug report - Manual Zoom value not saved when using zoom buttons
Version 2023.008.20470 64-bit, Windows 11, Using new Reader interface.
Summary: When the zoom +/- buttons are used, if a manually entered zoom value was used, that value is lost.
Impact: The only way (known to the user) to bring up the zoom value entry field is to first press either the zoom +/- buttons. When this is done, it also moves to the next zoom preset and you lose your custom zoom value.
Expected result: There is some way to view your zoom setting without changing it. Also, if a custom zoom setting has been entered manually, the zoom +/-…

Better update quality needed URGENTLY
Hello,
since there are only bugs with your latest updates and as an enterprise we, from IT, have to deploy a complete reset of user settings (deleting registry entries and files) for our users to be able to open PDFs generated with MS Office, we are unhappy with Adobe Reader and will ditch it for good should there be another such update. We can't even figure out whats bothering acrobat.exe because it crashes just like that by clicking an input field. Your previous update brought the updater to crash and annoy with info boxes on each and every opened PDF.…1 vote
