  2. review and sign

    Every time I send a document to sign. It always ask the client to review and sign. But that langue is extremely aggressive and literal losses me clients all the time. Because no one wants to push a button that says sign before even reading what's in the document.

    Can you just change it to review.

    Getting people to read a document is hard enough, I don't need a program giving them a built in excuse not to open it

  3. Right-click search (Google, Bing or whatever...)

    Many times, I am confronted with a text string that needs a search (I generally use Google) and from within Acrobat I must select and copy the text, then go to the browser and search. I know it sounds fundamentally lazy...but these steps if repeated over and over take time. From the Chrome browser, we can select and then right-click text and "Search in Google" is an option.   5. Bug: Error opening PDFs on write protected media

    Trying to open PDFs from write protected media (eg SD Card with write protection set) results in an error
    "Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open <file>, file type is not supported or file is damaged"
    (Translation from german message)

    This error shows up most times, on some PCs and also sometimes on same system doesn't.
    There is no reproduceable logic behind it .

    Works normal once write protection is removed.

    Mostly error arises in printer because of printer not activated error code 30 in windows 8,10. And due to this error users are not able to print the file because the drivers are old or faulty and printer is not specified

  7. Bug: Incorrect display of bitonal images with color key masking

    The attached PDF file contains a bitonal image which uses the DeviceGray color space, has a BitsPerComponent value of 1, and uses color key masking to make the white pixels transparent (via a Mask array).

    The file contains a shipping label with a large X over the entire label, and the text "VOID" over the barcode. One of the lines forming the large X is under the image, and the other is above the image. The "VOID" text is under the label image.

  8. Touchpad Jump page from 1 to 3 or 4

    Having issue on Touchpad Scroll Down Page directly jump from page 1 to page 3 or 4, While Clicking on Clickpad scroll working fine.
    Used Adobe XI and Adobe Reader DC most latest version but result remain same. Have make changes almost described in different post for page Dispaly settings, Preference->Accesibilty all possible settings done but scroll issue remain same. while touchpad working fine when page display setting make Enable Scrolling.   9. Fix Pan mouse option

    When using the Pan mouse function, the mouse often selects text/images rather than panning. There is already a Select mouse option, when using Pan, you should not be able to select text as that's not what you're attempting to do.

    Steps to reproduce the issue: When i have my screen reader (Fusion, ZoomText) on and want to open any pdf with adobe reader adobe reader freezes and cannot be used. even closing it does not work, it can only be done through task manager.
    OS: Windows 10
    Expected result: Programs runs and Screen reader reads the pdf.
    Observed result: Adobe reader freezes and never comes alive again.

  16. RdrCEF process to be stopped when Reader is closed

    https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrocef-rdrcef-errors.html provides admins a method to close RdrCEF process when Reader has problems working with digital signatures. Users are unable to stop this process and with this in mind, can Reader be developed so that it terminates this process periodically, as it tends to start up when Reader is launched. Please note that this process is either in background processes or as a child process of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, which on Windows 10 makes it a little tricky to locate immediately.   18. Reader DC 2021.011.20039 uninstallation bug

    We are working with SCCM/packaging and we discovered a problem when trying to uninstall latest Reader DC 2021.011.20039 from computers by command line. Uninstallation seems to be finished successfully (Reader DC is removed from Programs and Features) but the process "hangs" and never ends, which will cause SCCM or other install system to report it as still running/in progress and not report as success. Attached is a log file from one instance of this issue. We were able to reproduce it on several VMs.

  20. print bug causes Adobe Reader to crash

    There is a bug. When you want to print multiple sheets on one page and you select the customized amount and type in a zero in one of the two fields, the programm will crash when trying to generate the preview. (Version 2021.007.20099) On the older Version (2020.009.20063) of my old computer the programm generates a message, that the value must be between 1 and 99 and there is no crash
