    We tried but couldn't reproduce this issue. And Acrobat 10 was never supported on Window 10.
    Also, you are using an older version of Acrobat, which got expired 2 years back. So I suggest you, please use the trial version of latest Acrobat DC- https://acrobat.adobe.com/in/en/free-trial-download.html. You will have an option while installing Acrobat DC that it won't impact your installed version of Acrobat 11 or Acrobat 10.

    Please go to Document properties(Ctrl+D) > Security tab. Here you can restrict changes in your PDF.
    Go to the link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/how-to/security-permissions-protect-pdf-files.html for more info.

    Also, Acrobat 10 is the very old version which got expired 2 years back. Please use the trial version of Acrobat DC https://acrobat.adobe.com/in/en/free-trial-download.html which have multiple new features implemented.

    Also please share the following information:
    - Test File where you are seeing this issue.
    - Steps where it's crashing
    - Copy the Crash logs and send it to us.
    Adobe sends can be used to share the file. Please follow the steps to share the file
    - Open this link - https://cloud.acrobat.com/send
    - Click on “Select files to Send”
    - Click link "Choose file from my computer" and Select the file
    - Click on "Add Files", if you have more files to add
    - Click on Create link and Share this link with us

    - Acrobat version number (Go to Help> About Acrobat)
    - OS detail
    - Screenshot of message you are getting
    - Scenario where you are seeing this
