  1. Thumbnail size: set larger default

    It would be really great to open documents with much larger thumbnails, similar to how Apple's Pages software shows them.

    I download a PDF of a daily newspaper, which often has nearly 200 pages. I'm only interested in a couple of sections, so I like to quickly scan the thumbnails.

    • Currently I can increase the thumbnail size, but it's a multi-step process that needs to be repeated several times.

    • Enlarged thumbnails display text in a rough, jagged way, it should be much smoother.

    • When scrolling thumbnails with a mouse, enlarged thumbnails float horizontally in a really annoying way. I'd like…

  2. Acrobat Pro Window on 2nd monitor is to big.

  3. eye movement tracking tool for education

    eye tracking tool is used in cameras. if user agree to be tracked, document can be linked to camera of laptop or tablet or mobile phone. so document reading becomes more interactive. this information is stored in the document and this tracking info can be tagged to document and emailed to acrobat document creator (teacher). who can analyze this data, will determine that you have read the document or not, where you felt the difficulty and it will help him to plan the lesson/ flipped class room session. it can be used for assessment of learning in e-learning session. this…

  4. Acrobat DC issue with external monitors

    When connected to a external monitor the acrobat DC doesn't scale. After disconnecting from external monitor the app needs to be closed as it causes issue with reconnection to the external monitor. This is on Mac.

    Please enable scrolling through tabs like it works in Firefox, the way it works now is horrible, I've closed tabs instead of navigating through them many many times by accident.

  7. Icon bar button to toggle page cover view

    Button in the icon bar to toggle »page cover view« on or off.

    This would be extremely helpful for displaying and proof reading of book or journal PDFs in two page mode, which where originally exported as single pages.

  8. Button to page all open PDFs up or down

    Please add a navigation button to page all open PDFs simultaneously (synoptically) up or down.

    We often had to do visually compare documents – that would be a great help!

  9. Add .xlsm and .xlsb extenstions to your Policies registries

    In an Acrobat Pro DC PDF document, links to .xlsm and .xlsb spreadsheets won't open. Adobe needs to add those extensions to their Policies Registry keys and the problem will be solved! Please fix before next release! It's a super easy fix!

  10. Second PDF document opens in window larger than screen

    Since a few months ago, PDF documents are opening off screen - after the firs PDF is open. So the first PDF we open is in the expected place and size. The second PDF opens on the main screen at a size that cuts off the top of the window so you cannot just grab and move it. I've searched help pages for months, and all of them are geared toward the users working around this bug. We have been doing this, but it seems like a very fixable issue.   11. Action steps check mark color

    I miss the green check marks on completed steps in actions! I can hardly see the light gray checks in Acrobat Pro 2017.

  12. Search inside graphic selects extraneous text

    Searching for item as shown, when it finds it in the graphic it selects extra text! (Is there no check that the selection only includes the search and then trims if necessary?)

  13. Hide Tabs Bar in Read mode

    It would be nice, if the TabStrip could be hidden in Reading mode to see more of the whole PDF file. Especially when im arranging/organising more than 2 PDFs on one screen, (for example 4 files on each corner of the screen)
    there would be significantly more reading Space on the screen without the 4 TabStrips. As a comparison possibility i have attached SumatraPDF, where you can see less waste of reading space.

    ME :10-22-17-This Was Not Intended Fora New Idea-just a piggy on another’s-- But It Became Part Of Or Replaced My Original Complaint--Well here Goes anyway- I Have Adobe Acrobat Dc. For Emails I Have Thunderbird Which Provides A "Platform" That Seem Similar To Ms. Outlook But Is Free. Do I Have To Buy A 365 Subscription To Office 365 Or Download The Latest Office Programs To Make Life With acrobat Dc Easier. Privacy Is An Issue For Me But It Appears That Disconnecting the Router Is Becoming less and less possible to do simple things &everybody offering more “SAFE MEHODS”…

  16. Add a setting that allows for deletion of the recent files list at the time of exiting the program.

    Created a setting allows for the deletion of the recent files list when exiting Acrobat. The recent files list gives persons the ability to access files without having to go through security and can display private information depending on the naming convention used.

  19. Page Display "Use system setting" preference is broken

    Not sure which category this should go in, but Preferences > Page Display > "Use system setting" is broken. When enabled, it causes a spinning beach ball to appear for about 15 seconds with every click or cursor action. When "Custom resolution" (the default) is enabled, there is no problem. "Use system setting" is necessary to display content at the same size as the printed page. The problem is negligible for single page documents, but intolerable for multipage documents (dozens of pages or more).
