Here's a quick fix, but you then have to fix the menubars every time.

  12. When you have 2 screens up, and you have one pdf already open, and you want to open another pdf, which you do, and it opens up on the same screen, and then you drag it over to the 2nd screen, and when you're done with that, you close it, and then open a 3rd 4th 5th pdf, it'll keep opening on screen 1. Can you teach the software to learn that any 2nd 3rd 4th pdfs are being dragged over to the 2nd screen and therefore, they should automatically open up on the 2nd screen, as opposed to having…

    Hi Jay,

New document will open in the active instance of Acrobat. So if the instance on screen 2 is active the new pdf will simply open there. But, we are taking a note of your concern and might pick it up in future.

    Thanks for reporting.

  13. In a PDF file you can find two documents like ID-Cards. While trying to cut them into two files, by clickig on the "creating PDFs out of copy" button, ADOBE doesn't Change the Format automatically, so the file get stretched up.

Is there a way to fix this?

  17. Please create the ability to AUTOMATE EMBEDDED indexing in Acrobat.
Currently embedded indexes are done manually through a laborious 5-step point and click process. We use these extensively and would like a way to create them automatically - similarly to the way the multi-file site indexes can be built with a .bpdx file.

    1. Open Acrobat Pro DC.
    2. Open file A.pdf (which I believe was created by InDesign from AB.indd)
    3. Open file B.pdf (which I believe was created by InDesign from AB.indd)
    4. Under Tools, select 'Compare Files'.
    5. Click the 'Compare' button.
    6. After it creates the comparison report, close the document tab for [Compare Report] B.pdf, by clicking the 'X' on the tab.
    7. It should ask, "Do you want to save changes to '[Compare Report] B.pdf' before closing?"
    8. Click 'No'.
    9. A box pops up saying "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working." Problem Details are: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BEX Application Name: Acrobat.exe Application Version:…

  18. With small devices being so common (kindle being my handheld of choice for reading) it would be very nice to have some sort of enhanced usability of a PDF for small devices. The typical page by page that looks good on a computer monitor is too small for handhelds, and while there are zoom features, that's not particularly user friendly. Some sort of self-scaling to refit smaller amounts of text per page, and typical page flipping would make PDFs much more useful on these small devices
