1. ******** couldn't save could have lost a day's work stupid POS

   someone already said it Ill say it again **, I just wanted to SAVE. To use the SAVE function which has presumably existed and been replicated successfully on every other word processing program and PDF editor. Nice little gadgets and ads ** *** too bad I CANT SAVE ANYTHING.

   I am using an up-to-date Windows 10 computer.
   When trying to save, a totally blank, white 'save as' prompt appears that does nothing, leaving no choice as far as I could find but to exit without saving. Thank ******

2. Move Adobe Reader to App store model

   In todays world, many browsers now have built-in PDF viewers to help deal with end of browser plugins and the rise of HTML 5 and mobile apps. Can you please consider eliminating browser plugin for Adobe Reader DC and make Adobe Reader a Mac and Windows App store app as quickly as possible to modernize pdf experience and introduce adobe Scan app which uploads scanned document from iPhone directly to mac or windows PC as well.

   As many websites are going HTML 5 and browser plugin support is being reduced, we need to see adobe acrobat reader app converted from browser plugin which is obsolete to a app store model on desktops and laptops. I also want to see adobe Acrobat subscription services made available into Windows and Mac App store instead of traditional app installation methods.

   I also would like to see Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Air be completely discontinued immediately as flash player and Adobe Air is completely obsolete.

3. FIX Problem security with Adobe Reader WIN10

   No reaction when trying to open a .pdf file from a network share available under DFS with a previously running .pdf document locally.
   The problem with .pdf files not working properly in correlation with DFS is the Adobe Reader application bug.Bug exist from begin od 2018.Adobe products cannot cope with distributed file systems.The observed bug occurs in WIN SRV 2016 and 2019 systems, and unless it is explicitly stated anywhere that the reason is the change in the SMB authentication method, this is indicated by (logically) the AR logs.this is a link to a thread on this topic https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/can-only-open-1-pdf-at-a-time-from-dfs-server/m-p/10889532?page=3#M62593 The bug only occurs in Adobe applications, previous signals about Edge / other browsers have not been confirmed in tests. .Pdf documents in other applications work correctly at the moment.The workaround is to disable protected mode in Adobe Reader but our security department does not recommend such a solution

4. auto scroll loop

   Auto scroll and speed choise are great but when the pdf arrives at the end and you want to see it many times you have to go again at the beginning and choose auto scrool.I suggest to implement the feature for the document to automatically loop and play over and over until you decide to stop it. Windows Media player has a repeat feature and power point also.I would like the same for acrobat reader.
   It would be great for educational purposes to repeat the same information until it is memorised.(REPETITION IS THE MOTHER OF RETENTION..)
   It seems from the link below that also other persons need the same feature.I think it is very easy for your experiened programmers to implement it.I urge you to do so.

5. this.media and this.pageWindowRect undefined intermittently

   I am using the Adobe Reader Javascript API and trying to access the this.pageWindowRect variable. I've found from various forum posts that this has to be 'enabled' by accessing this.media first.

   This works most of the time, but intermittently on certain computers, I find that both this.media and this.pageWindowRect are undefined.

   It is difficult to reproduce this exactly: sometimes it seems to work fine, and sometimes they seem to stay undefined. I've tried delaying my code - in case things are taking a while to load - and running the code from a document-level script, a button, and the console. It all seems to work intermittently.

   The attached file has a timer running in the document-level JS, which prints out the value of these variables every few seconds for a couple of minutes (in case the initialisation is delayed). On most computers this seems to work fine, but on some computers both variables return 'undefined' for the entire period the code is running.

   Any support or advice would be much appreciated.

6. Crash when save as.

   Consistent crashes on Adobe Reader DC on Windows 10, with the newest version installed. No crash report ever generated, instant process stop. Can be replicated when attempting to sign in or save as. Open recent document shows saved file and location within adobe, cannot be located when selected to open or found within computer files.

7. BUG: Adobe AR DC 2020.009.20074 - Inconsistent Error Converting PDF to Excel

   Windows Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2020.009.20074 inconsistently fails to convert our PDF data to a viable Excel file. When it fails instead of creating an All-Borders grid around the data, it will create a Picture of the border box and clump the data together in a jumble below.

   As we use macro's to manipulate the converted data, this obviously presents a problem to us.

   We have captured some files during the conversion process, and made a Word conversion of our data to check it - and what we found makes us wonder where this may be coming from.

   Process Step:
   - Download PDF file form company server
   - Open in Adobe AR DC and convert to Excel
   - Save excel file and use as basis for data shaping

   Please refer to the attached files.

10. Linux support via wine

    I like all adobe products but I don't like the fact that to use them I should use Windows or Mac. I understand supporting Linux is a huge work but for something as small as acrobat reader it is possible with little effort.

    It is possible to install acrobat reader on Linux via wine. I suggest packaging acrobat reader with wine and distributing it to Linux.

    Dear Adobe team, please add adobe scan to Microsoft Surface Pro (X).

    At the moment, in order to use Adobe scan, you need to use your cell phone and then upload the scan to the cloud.

    On the one hand this is very time consuming, on the other hand it requires an active internet connection, which cannot always be guaranteed, especially when you are not at home.

    With an integration of Adobe Scan on Surface Pro (X), you could make very fast professional scans offline.

    I know that you have added Adobe Scan to the iPad, which could be compared to the Surface.

    [I know the example is not the best as iPhone and iPad both use the App Store but I'm a bit desperate ^^]

    I really hope that you can integrate this feature because I think that many Surface users would appreciate this possibility.

14. Acrobat lite add-on to Reader

    It would be nice if you could make a more affordable version of Acrobat, or an add-on to the Reader, with just TWO capabilities: merge pdfs and password protect. Users like me do not need to modify pdfs, convert from MS Office, sign, etc. etc. etc. And once or twice a month need to merge or password protect so a monthly fee to Adobe is rediculous for occasional use. If built into Reader, which I'm sure you won't do, that would be very nice of you so that users like me could do the simpler tasks without having to use a "free" merger or other means of password protecting a pdf document.

    Problem Description / Situation

    • Windows Explorer preview is active.

    • Adobe Reader is the preview handler

    • Select a file that is on a smb fileshare and send delete request.

    Expected behaviour.

    • file gets deleted

    Observed behaviour

    • following error occurs

      • Windows Dialog > File is in Usage of Explorer. > close the file and retry.

    • presists no matter how many times you hit retry

    Known workaround

    • Disable Preview in Windows Explorer

    • delete file (Occasionally you get the same dialog but after some retries it works)

    • enable preview in Windows Explorer again

    • Problem does not exist with on the same fileshare If you acess it over a local Win 10 Client

    • Problem does not exist or is solvable by retries when the files are located in the terminalserverusers profile.

17. scrolling motion is not smooth on the pc version of adobe acrobat, while on mac it is natural and easy to read and not laggy

    I have a bad experience scrolling and reading pdfs on pc
    because its very laggy , while on ipad and the mobile version of this app its very smooth

18. Zoom Percentage For Full Screen Mode

    We Desperately Need To Be Able To Control How Much Zoom We Want In Full Screen Mode.
    The Ctrl+ And Ctrl- Just Take Such Big Steps And I Cannot Adjust The Right Amount Of Zoom I Want.

    I was asked to create a document in such a way that when it gets passed along it opens in Read Mode instead of with the comment, fill &sign and more tools panel open. Apparently that can't be done.
