    Crashes to black screen and have to hard power off the machine or a ACROCEF.exe - system error unknown hard error
    Happening on MANY client machines. Having to un-install adobe reader DC to resolve issue.

  2. Build in an EPUB Reader and Allow for EPUB Embedding

    The Reader app (all platforms) should be more generalized to allow "reading" of both EPUB or PDF documents.

    Similarly, we should be able to embed an EPUB into a PDF file. (PDF has a robust method that allows it to embed other file formats.)

    Then, we should have a switch in Reader that would let a user to switch from PDF to reflowable EPUB and back again.

    While I understand that Adobe is investing heavily in Liquid Mode, this EPUB method would be far more reliable for people who need to control the design of both static and reflowable modes.

  3. Bug: Acrobat Reader 64bits Windows crashes when 3rdParty Plugin installed

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Install Acrobat Reader 64bits on Windows
    2. Install any 3rdPargy Acrobat Reader plug-in, e.g. the "BasicPlugin" from Acrobat SDK samples
    3. Launch Acrobat Reader 64bits
    4. Acrobat Reader 64bits was launched, but after 3~4 seconds, Application crashed.

    Notes:
    * Only an issue on Windows
    * Only an issue on Acrobat Reader 64bits.
    * Not an issue for Acrobat Reader 32bits
    * Not an issue for Acrobat DC 64bits
    * This can be simply reproduced by using the "BasicPlugin" sample that comes with Acrobat SDK

    Please consider fixing the crash.

  4. BUG: Copy / Paste text in PDF letters with accents paste as a space on Mac Big Sur

    The copy paste function doesn't work with words that contain letters with accents on my Mac running Big Sur. Letters with accents paste as a space. It doesn't matter where I paste the text. The result is the same. This is a real problem for people using languages with a lot of accents. I'm able to open the same PDF using Preview and copy/paste the same text and see all the letters.

    I opened another PDF that was created years ago with accented letters. The copy/paste worked in my browser and in Preview. I had the same problem when copying/pasting…

  5. Very slow after window is resized or moving between monitors

    Adobe Reader is very slow after I resize the window on my Windows 10 laptop. This includes maximizing and restoring down a window. If I only open one document, it usually takes 1-3 seconds to respond, depending on how complicated the document is. This is already significantly slower than Firefox and Chrome. Furthermore, if I open two documents, resizing takes 3-6 seconds, and longer when more document tabs are opened. This is a big performance issue.     Let me repeat honestly because I am exasperated by Adobe's incompetence:

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out to us for your query.
    This feature is already available in Acrobat Reader. Here is how you can turn that on.

    1) Go to Edit → Preferences → “Documents” Tab
    2) Select the checkbox for “Restore last view settings when reopening documents”

    This preference will make sure that your Acrobat reader remembers the last view of the pdf when it was closed and reopened.

    intuit sync manager has stopped working error can be attributed to several factors, including:

    The program does not have any files or it has been destroyed.
    The data transmission was interrupted by a network issue.
    There was an error configuring the firewall.
    The missing files include several key ones.

  8. Error with Paste in place an image copied from PDF to another PDF document

    When an image copied from one PDF and pasted to another PDF, it always got pasted in place and with the same size. However, now what happens is: 1) the pasted image position is always in the centre of page. 2) the image is smaller in size, then when I scale it to be bigger, the quality is very pixelated.

    This issue never happened before. I've always used the same Acrobat.

    Please fix this ASAP!! It is very annoying. Thank you

    Eu gostaria de sugerir uma ferramenta: tradutor de idiomas. Ou dicionário de língua estrangeira.

    A ferramenta poderia estar dísponível também na opção ACESSIBILIDADES (assistente de leitura)

    Acho estranho essa ferramenta não existir no Adobe Reader, pois já existem ferramentas como tradutor de texto, leitura de voz, entre outras (utilizadas pelo google, por exemplo).

    Isso facilitaria a leitura de artigo, resumo e texto em seu idioma original.

  11. I need the recognition of my work

    Dear leader, hello, I reported 17 stack exhaustion vulnerabilities to Adobe's security department through hackerone. This type of vulnerabilities have always been given cve numbers and thank you(e.g. CVE-2020-3753/CVE-2020-3756/CVE-2020-9611/CVE-2020-9702/CVE-2020-9703/CVE-2017-16419), but your security department notified me that these 17 bugs that I reported will not be given cve numbers and acknowledgements, I think it is unfair to me. And these 16 vulnerabilities did have an impact on your products, I also made contributions, I deserve the cve number and acknowledgements. Thanks.

  12. QuickBooks Error 1603 Causes

    It is possible for the update installer to fail for a variety of reasons, including:
    There may be a problem installing Microsoft NET 1.1 SPI, for example.
    The QB Installation files are corrupt or missing.
    The Microsoft website
    It has been damaged.
    Damage has been done to MSXML and C++ components of Microsoft.

    A QuickBooks update error makes QuickBooks accounting software appear to be out of date, which is why it is called an update error. There are a number of factors that can lead to QB error 15240.     According to Intuit, an error code H505 indicates that extra settings need to be made on the computer where QuickBooks company files are stored. QuickBooks Error Code H505 appears when QuickBooks on the user's computer fails to connect to the computer hosting the company file.

  15. QuickBooks Error 1935

    QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online may give you the error 1935.

    A number of reasons usually contribute to it:

    A second application is being installed on Windows using the Microsoft.Net Framework.

    QuickBooks installation is being interfered with by antivirus and antispyware programs.

  16. PDF is blank

    When creating a new document, i.e. printing to Adobe or converting a document I'm getting the correct number of pages, however blank/grey pages. Can see older/existing documents.
    Windows 10 and Adobe DC.

  20. Adobe Reader Print bug - long delays

    Adobe Reader suffering from delays when printing PDF files, switched reader to Edge or Foxit same files print without any issue. Repair install performed along w/ complete removal + reinstall of Reader but issues continued. End users reported problem did not appear until recently, possibly a bug with the latest build.
