Bug: Reader crashes on certain unicode ranges entered in comments
Acrobat Reader 2023.001.20177 on MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 running on 2022 MBP (M1 Pro CPU) crashes systematically when inputing the second entry of certain unicode characters in PDF comments.
This seems to affect at least the mathematical fraktur characters such as U+1D52A. Entering character once is OK, but immediately upon entering the same character the second time in the same comment Acrobat Reader exits without any error code or other debugging information. It does not matter if the character is entered via Edit->Emoji&Symbols menu or by copy-paste. This occurs reliably with many different PDF documents.1 vote -

Acrobat Reader only showing logo's but no body text
When opening documents made in Acrobat 5 format (e.g. saved as pdf from a docx file) the document content isn't shown. Only the header and footer logo is shown but the body text isn't visible. This is in the Standalone Reader. Not in a webbrowser. I've encountered this problem with numerous different pdf documents. I've attached an example of a pdf that behaves like this as an upload. (It's a pdf form downloaded from an organisation website. But I also have this problem with bills and overview documents for my Morgage )
I have also included a screenshot 'Blank Screen for PDF' that shows how Acrobat Reader (application) shows this pdf document. Aand another screenshot 'Firefox plugin view for same PDF' that shows how that same pdf document is shown if I open it with firefox instead of the acrobat reader application.When opening documents made in Acrobat 5 format (e.g. saved as pdf from a docx file) the document content isn't shown.
