Saving Split Vertical View in Portfolio
Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, Version 2018.009.20050
Windows 10 Professional 64-bit
I save a portfolio in Split Vertical view.
When I reopen the portfolio, it has Split Horizontal view.
Acrobat should remember it was last in Split Vertical view.
Setting Split Vertical view should also be an option in the Properties of a Portfolio PDF.
Was there ever a resolution to this? I can't get it to pull up the "view" I thought it would remember when I saved the portfolio. It keeps defaulting to a list of the files in the middle of the screen.
Is there now a solution to this issue. Crickets!

HI Petrula, Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please update to the latest version of Acrobat DC and see if the issue is still repro at your end.
I have the same issue. Would love to have this as a default for my users. Have almost 300 users in our company and this is the biggest request we have. Pls address.

This happens for us as well. We agree, it would be useful to have the ability to save the "Split Vertical" view as the default setting, either per-document or per-computer (through GPO).
We are using the setting under Perferences > Accessibility > Show Portfolios in Files mode. We would also like to have a way to keep the view split vertically, as this is more conducive to our business process.
I have submitted a sample PDF Portfolio to the email address below, as well as screenshots displaying each scenario.
Adobe, we look forward to seeing this item included soon! Please let us know your thoughts.
Thanks for reaching out to us for your concerns.
Could you please share a sample Portfolio that you are talking about along with the snapshot of Split Horizontal and Vertical views so that we can replicate that at our end.
you can send it at email@example.com
