Hi, We appreciate the time and effort you took to leave us a remark since we're constantly searching for ways to make Acrobat better.

We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you are able to be more productive & get more out of Acrobat.

We allow lot of customization in the app. For example - you can drag drop the tools in All tools left pane to reorder your tools. Similarly, the top left toolbar (Quick tools) can also be customized using Customization window that comes on clicking ... button at the bottom of the toolbar. We are in the process of adding more customizations in the app.

The navigation tools for PDFs have all been gathered and placed to the right. These tools were arranged specifically for each platform, whether desktop, mobile, tablet, or mobile, making sure that the tool layout remained intuitive, optimized, and purposeful regardless of where the user was on Acrobat. And like in old interface you can also use same keyboard shortcuts to zoom and navigate - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/keyboard-shortcuts.html

The search field on top ("Find text or tools") allows you to not only search for content within the document but also find and access tools. For example, you can search for "Add text" and it will show you the option to add text.

A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have ensured all tools & features that are currently supported, retain their familiar functionalities and workflows as they did in the previous version. We are proactively addressing any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows.

We are also updated our helpx page that will assist you better - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/new-acrobat-experience.html

Please stay tuned for more of our upcoming releases as we are constantly working on improving the new experience.

With the new interface we aim to

    1. Provide a simplified viewing experience that helps reduce clutter & optimise it for most used PDF actions that are relevant while viewing a document.

    2. Easily allow users to discover PDF tools they need by ensuring tools are intuitively grouped and a click away,

**For example, all tools that allow content, page & file level edits can be found under one action based verb called “Edit”; tools that allow converting files to & from PDFs can be found under “Convert”; tools that allow filling & signing documents or requesting signatures from others under “Sign”.

    3. The search field on top ("Find text or tools") allows you to not only search for content within the document but also find and access tools. For example, you can search for "Add text" and it will show you the option to add text.

    5. With the new release, the floating Quick tools bar on the left is now draggable. So, now you can bring it closer to your work space.

We would also like to highlight that we have exhaustively tested these changes with users over the past 12 months, keenly monitoring user behavior & addressing top user issues before gradually rolling out the new interface to the Acrobat user base

A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have ensured all tools & features that are currently supported, retain their familiar functionalities and workflows as they did in the previous version. We are proactively addressing any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows.

We will follow up on this response with a detailed blog post explaining the changes, a guide to help familiarize you to the new interface, along with regular updates on upcoming changes.

We are also updated our helpx page that will assist you better - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/new-acrobat-experience.html

Once again, we appreciate your comments. Please stay tuned for more of our upcoming releases as we are constantly working on improving the new experience.

Hi, Thank you reporting the issue.

If you are in Modern Viewer where thumbnail panel in on the right. You can select one of the thumbnail (or the first one) and then do shift arrow to select the thumbnails. Once, selection is done you can right click on thumbnail and extract to extract all the selected pages. Alternatively, you can open "Organize pages" tool. There also you can use shift+arrow for selection and then right click to extract. In "Organize pages" tool you can input the selection range too and then click Extract icon.

We are working on improving the overall experience. Do look forward to our upcoming releases.

Regarding the use of Commenting tools - we have made many improvements to reduce number of clicks. Like - we have now made the comment tools sticky by default. So, once selected you can use them repetitively without selecting the tool each time.

We have also added a floating contextual tool bar that comes when you select the text.

We have noted the navigation popup (or popups from Navigation bar on the right) is hampering the scroll. We will re-evaluate the experience based on your feedback and come back with the fix. However, as a workaround you can make the popup go away by pressing Escape or clicking anywhere outside the popup.

Hi, Thank you for reporting the issue. We understand that with old save as dialog you were able just use arrow keys to navigate the folders. But with new Save as dialog, you are unable to navigate just by arrows. Actually, in new Save as dialog you need to first reach the folder list by pressing tabs and then you can use arrows. However, this is certainly a downgrade of experience. We will work on fixing this on priority.

You can completely hide the All tools pane by clicking X or toggling the All tools button on the top tools bar.

With the new release, the floating Quick tools bar on the left is now draggable. Now, you can drag it to place anywhere in the document viewer.

With the new interface we aim to

1.Provide a simplified viewing experience that helps reduce clutter & optimise it for most used PDF actions that are relevant while viewing a document.

We are also updating our helpx page that will assist you better - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/new-acrobat-experience.html

Once again, we appreciate your comments. Please stay tuned for more of our upcoming releases.

Hi, We appreciate the time and effort you took to leave us a remark since we're constantly searching for ways to make Acrobat better.

We recognize that the new Acrobat represents a significant shift, but we hope that as you become accustomed to the new interface, you will be able to use Acrobat more effectively and get more out of it. And, we are proactively addressing the performance/crash issues in upcoming releases.

A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have ensured all tools & features that are currently supported, retain their familiar functionalities and workflows as they did in the previous version. We are proactively addressing any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows.

For example, the functionality to delete an item in Edit mode, is same as in old interface. Right click on the box boundary of a text box and delete, or click on box boundary of a text box and hit delete button. It is an object/image, then click on it or boundary as right click or delete button. We have also added a contextual toolbar that comes up when you select a item(or its boundary) in editing mode.

We will follow up on this response with a detailed blog post explaining the changes, a guide to help familiarize you to the new interface, along with regular updates on upcoming changes.

If you are facing more issues, please let us know. We are constantly working on it to improve the new experience.
