Expandable text fields and tables
I need to create a form in Acrobat that have expandable tables, so the user can add rows as needed and that has text fields that expands as the user fills in the text (not just the scrollbar at the end of the text field as that cannot be printed)

Hello,
I need PDFMaker to create accessible pdfs in Word. Maker is suggested to meet WCAG 2.0 requirements.
I'm very surprised that Adobe has not made Maker available on the mac as MOST DESIGNERS USE MACS! Adobe is the gold standard in the design world. (Although I don't usually work in Word, these are the files my client has given me.)
Luckily I have a Windows laptop so I can get my work done.

PDFMaker is available for Word on Mac. You can create accessible PDFs using cloud service option in PDFMaker adding provided by Adobe Acrobat DC.

Gray boxes adjacent to text and images after conversion from Word
I converted Word 2013 file to PDF by using Save As PDF in Word. The entire file displayed large, light gray rectangles adjacent to the text on each page. (See attached image.) The solution to remove those rectangles was to delete comments that appeared in the Word document and save it as a PDF, again. There was only one comment in the Word file that got there by accident, but it caused hours of frustration for me. Once it was removed, the conversion worked like a charm.
To remove comments, in Word, go to Review, Delete Comments.

PDFMaker Add-in causes Title: Failed error from MS Word 2016
An accessible MS Word 2016 docx, saved as a PDF with the Adobe PDFMaker Add-in enabled, creates a PDF when Accessibility Checked with Acrobat Pro 2017 results in a Title: Failed error. The same MS Word PDF created after disabling the PDFMaker Com Add-in no longer results in the Title:Failed error.
The Title: Failed error caused by PDFMaker is easily corrected by clicking "Fix it" in acrobat pro, but the document already has a title and this step should not be necessary. It's better to disable PDFMaker which is installed as part of Acrobat Pro 2017.
Please fix PDFMaker.

When you convert a Microsoft
There is a glitch with Adobe PDF. When you covert a Microsoft Word document to an Adobe PDF, some pilcrows (¶) are changed while some are not in the same document. Some pilcrows have a curved bottom. Additionally, all superscript characters become subscript. So all in-text citations with a superscript number and all superscript th and nd, etc., such as in 4th, 2nd, etc., become subscript. It also depends on how you open the file. On Adobe Cloud, the pilcrow problem doesn't happen, but the other one does. On Instructure Canvas opening my PDF files, both problems are present.

Adobe Acrobat DC Saving Garbled text from Word
I have a new installation of Adobe Acrobat DC. When I tried to save a word doc as a PDF the text was garbled -overlapping, uneven spacing. I tried to fixes suggested when I googled the problem to no avail. What am I missing?

Combined file - contents changed
Combined file - contents changed. I had combined 2 PDFs, however when I view the combined file the numbers on one of the pages completely changed. I work in financial services so this issue is a significant loss in confidence to the software.

Acrobat not working in Microsoft Word 36
I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro and Windows 365. Yesterday I was not able to convert a Word file into a PDF. I was told that the 'add in' (Acrobat) was 'unstable' and it got turn off.
I checked for updates, and tried to reinstall. As far as I am aware I am using the latest version of Acrobat.

STOP CHANGING LINE THICKNESS!!!!!
You need to fix the bug that changes line thicknesses when saving a Word document as a PDF. It is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that normal underlines in Word appear thick and bold when opened in PDF. I don't want Adobe changing or enhancing ANYTHING when I save a document as a PDF. The PDF should appear exactly as it does on the screen in Word. Since it doesn't, you have a bug that you need to fix. Don't make excuses! Don't tell me, it's because "enhance thin lines" is default. Why would anyone want Adobe to enhance anything, ever?! If I…

MS Word 2016 Addin for Adobe Acrobat Pro 11
Please resolve the incompatibility between MS Office and Acrobat in the subject versions. My Company does not have a budget to upgrade to a new version and plans to maintain the Acrobat Pro 11.

Unfortunately we cannot help you in this regard as Acrobat 11 is End of life. Please upgrade to Acrobat DC which is very much compatible with latest Office versions for continued support.

Unable to convert .xlsx files to .pdf
I have placed all the .xlsx file in Adobe DC and i am told i can not combine as the files are not supported

Adobe DC not printing pdfs from excel . Error message...The procedure entry point _DistBeginFileJob@16 could not be located
Adode DC printing error. No pdf created. Error message when printing as follows...The procedure entry point _DistBeginFileJob@16 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Abobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\AcroDist.exe.
Windows 10 64 bit.
The problem occurs in Excel, Autocad and word.....
I have uninstalled Acrobat DC and reinstalled, but the error persists. Any ideas, please?

Bug: Can only create one PDF from AutoCAD before system hangs
Anybody else having the same issue? This is happening on all 3 of our computers so it is not an isolated problem.

Word crashes while creating PDF with bookmarks.
(1) Open Word document. Select tab "Acrobat". Select Create PDF. Process runs for some time; large document - over 1500 pages - around 1200 bookmarks.

Since your issue is document specific and we are not able to reproduce this at our end, we cannot help much here without any sample test file. So we are closing the case from our end. Please reopen a new case, if you have a test file which you can share with us.

When trying to convert email to .pdf in Outlook, the conversion fails at 248 emails and then removes the Adobe Acrobat Add-In from Outlook.

Combine/Create PDF error
I am trying to combine multiple documents into one PDF using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I have tried using Create PDF as well as Combine Files and continue to get the same problem no matter what I try. I upload 4 documents, and when I click "combine", all files are changed to the first document that was chosen to be uploaded. So, I end up with one PDF with 4 of the same document instead of one PDF with 4 different documents.
This does not happen when I create a portfolio, but a portfolio cannot be used in my situation.

Combine files MS Word .doc not working

In Adobe select "combine files" but unable to add via browse selection OR via drag/drop any MS Word files.
