PLEASE MAKE ACROBAT PDF MAKER AVAILABLE IN WORD ON THE MAC!!!
Hello,
I need PDFMaker to create accessible pdfs in Word. Maker is suggested to meet WCAG 2.0 requirements.
I'm very surprised that Adobe has not made Maker available on the mac as MOST DESIGNERS USE MACS! Adobe is the gold standard in the design world. (Although I don't usually work in Word, these are the files my client has given me.)
Luckily I have a Windows laptop so I can get my work done.
Thank you,
Erica Cetin
Hi Erica
PDFMaker is available for Word on Mac. You can create accessible PDFs using cloud service option in PDFMaker adding provided by Adobe Acrobat DC.
Thanks

Many institutionals (like government agencies, corporations, and universities) are prohibited from using cloud services.
Security is a major reason: security about putting confidential information on an outside server like Adobe's, security of copyrighted content, and basic security restrictions imposed by the IT administrators.
So they can use Adobe's cloud service; it is not an option for about 2/3 of your customers who are required to make accessible PDFs. They must keep the document on the institution's computers, not Adobe's.
Please reconsider your decision to decline this idea. You're shooting Adobe in the foot and clients will choose other PDF companies.
