  1. allow printing of all data in text box even if it exceeds the amount visible on the display.

    there needs to be a way to print all of the text in a text box without using auto font size. in auto font size the font shrinks as more text is added. this is not readable. all of the text should print even if it is more than is visible in the text box on the display.

  2. Format Painter

    It would be very helpful if Acrobat Pro were to have a format painter feature like Microsoft's. As it is, one has to go through all the form fields and change them manually one at a time after Auto doesn't deliver what is desired.

  3. Editable form fields should keep font properties they were exported with

    When you export an interactive PDF from InDesign, form fields that define a font and size do not carry over to the actual PDF and have to be redefined in Acrobat Pro.

  4. Change form field types

    When creating a PDF Form from an existing document there should be a way to select a field and change the field type. Ex. change a text field into a dropdown list field

  5. Per-document Highlight Form Field setting

    Highlight Form Field function draws over the form field so instead of a nice button I get an ugly blue/red rectangle that is acting buggily anyway. It makes the document useless and I have to find a different solution than pdf questionnaire. Forcing people to switch it in some advanced menu is out of question. This feature should be on per-document basis with possible override in Acrobat preferences where you specifically state that you want to override document settings.

  6. Bug - Form Field Properties dialog doesn't save Calculations when accessed from Tools Pane field list

    When selecting a field from the Tools Pane, Rt-click, and selecting Properties, the Calculations tab does not work. You can enter a formula, but it will not save into the field properties.

    However, if you double-click the field on the page to open the Properties, and enter the same formula in the Calculations tab, it will save it.

    This is CERTAINLY a bug, as there is no reason the Properties dialog should not act the same way no matter how it was opened. And the correct action should be to save formulas that are entered into the Calculations tab.

  9. New Document Preparation automatic tool

    I would like to be able to select the Font, Font Size & the type of check box Adobe DC uses when a document is being prepared automatically. Currently I must go in and manually change these attributes each time a new document is prepared. I use font size 12, Font type Helvelica Bold and a square for the check box. Don't understand why a tool was created that only does half the job. I need to be able to change these 3 attributes to the default before I run the prepare form tool.

  10. Font Size in Fillable Form Text Box bigger than 300pt

    Font Size in Fillable Forms Text Box should have no limitation for size. Currently the limitation font size is 300pt and I constantly create Signs and Banners that use fonts size bigger that 300pt.
    If you are a designer that create big designs vote for this idea!
    Thank you

  11. Task pane - increase width

    Ability to increase the task pane width. Helpful when creating fillable forms so that you can see the entire field name.

  12. Fix for XI

    Please create the option to set a font for Form Editing, or fix the "Use Current Properties as New Defaults" to include the selected font as well. Helvetica isn't a common font, but I'd really rather not have to change it for every field I create on a converted document.
    Thanks...Love the program.

  13. Lifecycle Designer as it offers more formula functionality than pdf fillable form

    Lifecycle designer offered more maths/formula functionality, so either bringing back lifecycle designer (which I lost when I upgraded software), or making the products that will be lost when upgraded more apparent so we could keep some of the older options - which then leads to the next problem of making some of the older products that are widely used, compatible with the new upgraded product.

  17. It should be very simple to add a fillable form to the end of a regular pdf. Currently this cannot be done.

    I should be able to Combine or Organize a fillable pdf and a regular (non-filled) pdf. When I do, the regular pdf becomes fillable.

  18. Possible Bug

    When creating a text field, under the General tab, where the Form Field is set to "Visible", if under the Format tab you enter the following custom script (for example):

    var message = 'Title'
    if (event.value == '') {

    event.target.display = display.noPrint

    event.value = message

    } else {

    event.target.display = display.visible

    }

    Saving the PDF apparently corrupts the file in some way where when you attempt to re-open it, it causes Acrobat to crash and the pdf is unrecoverable. When the Form Field is set to "Visible but doesn't print" no error occurs.

  19. Compatibility problem between Acrobat Pro and Indesign when using an interactive pdf create on In design.

    Compatibility problem between Acrobat Pro and Indesign when using an interactive pdf create on In design.
    I have created buttons and checkbox on a document about indesign that I record in pdf interactive.
    When I open it on acrobat, I click on the checkboxes, the button disappears well. However, when I uncheck the box this button does not reappear, while the parameters are entered in indesign (show / hide the buttons and forms).
    I think this is a bug related to Acrobat Pro.

  20. Color swatches created need to stay as color mode set

    When creating form fields and trying to pick a color, you can't create a new CYMK swatch and have it stay with the same color values. It converts to RGB and the color is not the same as the original defined. The new colors do not match with colors defined from other programs like InDesign.
