Format Painter
It would be very helpful if Acrobat Pro were to have a format painter feature like Microsoft's. As it is, one has to go through all the form fields and change them manually one at a time after Auto doesn't deliver what is desired.
I have forwarded your request to engineering. It will be picked up after prioritization. We will contact you if we need some more information on this.
Thank you for your patience

Adobe is the main and master provider of software/application for pdf work; but, they are falling behind competators with less (resist to) update/ improve/ innovate.
The "Format Painter" is useful and save lots of time for simple commands of "Comments" tool like texts/ line/ Arrow/ Polygon/ Text Callout/... as it is an standard tool in the most of major softwares like MS office and Autodesk.
We are using different settings of font/colour/ fill/ border/... so re-setting "default" each time is not solution. It is really iritating to do all format settings everytime as I wonder why till know there is not a tool to copy/paste the format of an object to other similar object.

I wanted to raise similar request as system brought up this request which has been made way back. There is "DECLINED" beside it without any description. I hope Adobe revisit and add such tool.

Ummm… why wasn't this included from the initial development?! This seems like such an obvious tool to have included! And it's still not available?! Come on Adobe, get with the times. It is absolutely a necessity when preparing documents that must be secured and consistent!

Does "Declined" mean Adobe rejected this enhancement? I use Acrobat constantly for complicated legal documents and make extensive use of bookmarks and highlighting. By far this is the biggest weakness in the product for me. Once a bookmark structure is created I constantly go back and use color and font properties on the bookmarks to indicate various areas of significance for my particular needs at that time.
Making me right click on each bookmark, set the properties and do it over and over again is exceptionally cumbersome and time consuming. The ability to click on one bookmark or highlight and apply those properties to other similar objects cannot be a difficult programming task and would make an incredible difference to a user. You can see from the earlier posts I am not alone in this.
Why would it be rejected by Adobe?

This would help so much especially when documents of over a hundred pages need identical formatting but not the same box size/shape

Please add this feature. It would be very valuable

I agree. It is very time consuming to edit each section with matching formatting.

Any ETA as to when or if this will be implemented?

When you create a form using the prepare form option and you have 24 pages the one thing that would be the most helpful would be the format painter function. Or at the very least have the ability to highlight all the cells required and change the format in properties for all instead of individually.

Agreed; this is a very basic requirement, and consistently used among acrobat users. My year-long subscription should have it already. Please add this requirement without further delay.

DITTO! With great enthusiasm!!
Once in the EDIT PDF mode, we should be able to select an element or text within an element, then click on the "Copy Formatting" tool (could look like a paint roller), then click on another element, and have Acrobat copy all formats to that new element, such as font color, font face, font size, orientation, background or highlight color, etc.
For more advanced options (something Adobe is very good at), you could offer an option to bring up a "Format Painter Dialog" in which you have checkboxes next to each formatting element that should be pasted to the new target, such as those elements mentioned in the previous paragraph. The user could then elect to copy/paste only the color and font weight, while keeping the original font face and size, for example.
