Add option to print using system dialog by default
In my office we have user codes we use when printing. The code is saved into the print driver of each user. When printing from Adobe we are forced to click "properties" before every print, even if we don't need to make any setting changes. If you do not click properties, the user code embedded into the driver is not sent with the print job and it fails with an authentication error at the printer. This is a common problem with many applications. Google Chrome has added the ability to turn off their print preview, and it has solved the…

unable to print any pdfs to printers
I'm unable to print any pdf files from Acrobat DC to the local network printers. I receive errors: "the document could not be printed" and "an error occurred while printing the document". I am able to print to the printers from other programs. I've been able to print pdfs from Acrobat DC to printers in the past.

Adobe PDF on Chrome and highlighting problem in Acrobat Pro DC
When printing from Chrome on Windows with Adobe PDF and then trying to highlight it in Acrobat Pro there is some strange problems. IT marks much more than it should. Se added examples.
AdobePDFchrome.pdf is printed with Adobe PDF and the Builtinchrome.pdf is printed with the built-in PDF in chrome.
In both files I have highlighted only the text DC but only the Built-In for chrome shows it correctly?Data: Chrome Version 68.0.3440.106 (Officiell version) (64 bit)

Thank you for sharing this issue with us. We would like to know few more things :
1. Is this issue happening every time you highlight a document printed by Adobe PDF?
2. Is it working fine if we highlight any local PDF file?
2. Have you tried updating Acrobat Pro and Chrome to the latest version?
3. Please share the sample pdf files. We have tried but unable to reproduce it with the latest Chrome(71.0.3578.98) and Acrobat Pro (2019.010.20064).

Print to PDF
Dear Adobe team.
I'd like to mention that for some reason, when I am on any app and I want to print as PDF, the quality of the file when I choose Microsoft Print to PDF is much better than when I choose Adobe PDF printer... That's very strange to me, given that as long as I know, you are the creators of this standard... Same thing happened when I had a mac. The built in PDF printer was much better than the Adobe one. I never went deep into settings to try to fine tune it so that I…2 votes -

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Printing too Many Copies
Acrobat is printing the square of however many copies I ask it to print. So, if I print 2 copies, Acrobat actually prints 4. If I print 4 copies, Acrobat prints 16, etc. I am running it on a Mac mini and my printer is an HP LaserJet Pro 400. I have tried turning off the computer & printer, with no success. It is still doing the same thing.

Printing locally from Adobe Acrobat Pro DC has never worked despite multiple "fixes"
I have CC full suite and from the day I had to install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC I have been unable to print locally from any open PDF. I have tried multiple fixes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I've updated the printer drivers and had my IT support look at it. And now that this program is embedded in everything, I can't event go back to Acrobat XI. If I'm lucky I can export the PDF as an image or word document and print from there, but if I'm looking at document that's large that is just simply…

Two-sided printing does not work with Acrobat Pro and HP OfficeJet 8710
I have spent the past few months troubleshooting with HP Technicians and have determined that there is a bug when trying to print double-sided documents in Acrobat Pro (DC) using a HP OfficeJet 8710 printer on a Mac. The documents print reverse meaning that for a 3-page document, pages 2 and 3 print double-sided on one sheet of paper while page 1, prints separately. This does not occur with any other HP printers

cannot print single pages when in comparison mode
Cannot print single pages when in comparison mode; only prints the summary page. It would be helpful to print single pages so I have a record of what still needs to be fixed in my document, since you cannot save the newer doc version as a separate document with notes intact. At least I would have a hardcopy to refer to.

Inability to file pdf files in alphabetical order
I have recently upgraded my Mac operating system to Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.1. Since doing this, I am unable to use the Mac Finder in alphabetical order to drag and drop / file pdf's from Adobe Acrobat Pro onto my Mac flash storage (the folders are no longer in alphabetical order and are displayed in a random mixed order). The same applies when you print to pdf and then try and file on Finder.
I would note that Finder itself accessed directly (i.e. not through Adobe) works as it is designed to and you can select any of…
2 votesHi,
How files/folder are sorted in any finder window is solely the business of your operating system and not Actobat. Are you facing this just with Adobe PDFs? -

Distiller’s font handling genrates errors not honoured by ‘stopped’
Distiller XI Pro 11.0.20 (28/03/2017), and many previous versions, crash “… /Font resourceforall”. Try the following code:
%!PS
(*) {
/FontName exch def FontName = {FontName cvn 48 selectfont} stopped pop
} 65535 string /Font resourceforallcrashes with:
%%[ Error: invalidaccess; OffendingCommand: def ]%%
without the “{…} stopped” construct it crashes with:
NanumPen
%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: findfont; ErrorInfo: CharOffsets –
and some non-ASCII characters. This problem started in about 2013, after an ‘upgrade’ to the Mac OS somehow altered something about fonts. Please could Distiller’s font handling be improved, even if only to honour ‘stopped’.
(There are about 2½k…

Tray switching - mixed size originals - Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5 Brother HL-L6200dw
According to the documentation provided by Adobe and Brother the printer should be able to switch trays and print the image on the correct size paper. The tray switching works but despite numerous hours on the phone with Apple and Brother the document prints as if it's on letter when it should be on legal. I've followed the directions provided by Adobe but the documents do not print correctly,

Installing a new printer while Acrobat or Reader is open and then trying to print to it sends it to the wrong printer
After installing a printer while Adobe Acrobat and/or Reader is already open and has a PDF open, attempting to print to it prints to a different printer, even though the new printer appears in the list. Acrobat/Reader must be closed and reopened in order to print to the new printer.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Acrobat or Reader.
2) Open a PDF
3) Install a new printer
4) Attempt to print the PDF to the newly installed printer (it appears in the list of printers)
5) The PDF prints to a different printer.Environment: Windows 7 64-bit. Acrobat version 11…
