Update 19.07.00 20190719.193727 Bug
Updated to latest version and now our forms have illegible text fields for the forms which are oriented in landscape after the forms upload from our iPads to our Cloud server. The portrait oriented forms are not having this issue. I have done quite a bit of testing and the previous Acrobat Version 19.06.02 20190719.162937 and earlier does not have this problem. We have been using these forms which I designed and coded for three years without this problem, until now, after the most recent update.

Why can’t I export a pdf to a jpeg like I can on my laptop? In order for me to do it, I have to get another app. I think it should be a feature for the iPhone.

Using colors
Dear PDF administrators, I am a heavy user of acrobat reader for my PDF book readings and I highlight every page I read with colors. Unfortunately, the latest version of IOS acrobat does not provide for all colors that used to be available in the previous version of the application. For example, the grey, orange and pink colors are not available in this version. What we need is to see the same available colors in the desktop version of adobe to be available in the IOS version. This is a very important requirement for users who use PDF books. Appreciate…

Rotate view
I want the ability to rotate the view in Adobe Acrobat app for iPad. Sometimes files get sent to me printed in the wrong orientation. Then I am fighting my iPad for portrait vs landscape view. Locking my screen rotation does not help, that just locks it in the wrong orientation.
For reference, I am usually viewing construction plans that should be opened Landscape as they are formatted for plotting 24”H x 36”L. Sometimes though these plans in PDF get sent to me in the wrong orientation. Without the very simple ability to rotate the view 90 degrees, 180 degrees,…

Syncing issues!
When I save the PDF on my iPad and upload it onto the document cloud, that PDF version on my iPhone doesn’t reflect those changes I did on my iPad. The date and time of the PDF has been updated in my iPhone, just not the changes I have did up (i.e. comments and annotations). Hence I believe it was the syncing problems between multiple devices :(( Please fix it asap.

Commenting is not intuitive
I have to click so many buttons to enter commenting mode.
This was easier in the previous app. Isn't there a shortcut way to enter commenting mode?7 votesIn the latest version, you can add comments quicker as follows:
1. Tap and hold on a word. A menu will appear allowing you to highlight, strikethrough, or underline the selection. You can adjust the selection before choosing a comment type.
2. Tap and hold in an empty area of the PDF. A menu will appear allowing you to add text, a note, or drawing.
We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other issues or feedback.

XFA file Editing on Adobe Mobile (e.g. IpadOS)
Adobe needs to update the Adobe Mobile app to allow XFA file editing and signing. I cannot open, edit, or sign a XFA (fillable PDF) file on my M4 iPad Pro running iPadOS 18.6.
It’s now 2025 and mobile operating systems are prolific in personal, government, and business use. It is unacceptable that Adobe hasn’t addressed this yet. This is NOT a device capability limit.

Ability to use check boxes
To be able to select check boxes would be a great boost, just now it says I need adobe reader DC so I have to carry a laptop and my tablet to work locations. Being able to do this on the tablet would be a life saver

It's better to have a free version that works than a paid version that bugs...
When you take an Adobe license, and use it on an iPad, Acrobat bugs as soon as you don't have a wifi connection...
I've been using an iPad for years. Adobe seems to be the only developer that doesn't allow its subscription applications to work when you're offline... It's incomprehensible and very penalizing.6 votes
