3. Can’t edit comment if whole text content is removed

   After I remove the entire text content of a comment, I can’t post the updated ‘comment’. The post button simply vanishes (unhighlights). Can I not remove the complete comment text?

4. Add preference for quickly opening bookmarks. The current location for

   Currently the iPhone or iOS app for adobe acrobat(reader or otherwise) nests bookmarks down two levels of clicks. First you have to click the ‘•••’ then you have to click “Bookmarks.” Then you have your first level of bookmarks. And at times each bookmark will have subsequent bookmarks because not all pdf are small. Some have multiple chapters or subjects and thus nested organization is required.

   Please consider a feature to add to preferences to show bookmarks or other features on bottom bar or let me view bookmarks while I view the doc. Because you may not click the correct bookmark the first time. Bookmarks should allow easier browsing. An older version had it pop out from the left. This was superior because the UX design allowed less tedious actions to get to it.

   OR a gesture to swipe open bookmarks or a custom definable action such as choosing a highlighter or other feature available on reader and pro.

5. Insert text - adding paragraph and space doesn't allow to post a comment

   Hi!

   I would like to report an issue with comment tools. I'm using Version 2024.001.20643 | 64 bit.

   When I want to add a space or indicate that a new paragraph should be added, I use Insert Text tool. I click where I want to add space/paragraph, the general insertion caret appears and when I press space bar or Enter I can't post the comment. The insertion caret doesn't change when pressing any of those keys. I can't post the comment, either.

   I follow this instruction: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/mark-text-edits.html (section: Insert text).

   As you can see on the image attached, I've added the space and the Post function is grey and not active.

   To give you a bit of background information, why we need this. We import the comments from PDF to InDesign: https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/import-pdf-comments.html

   This helps us a lot with updating our files. It does work with the text, which I use on the daily basis. I don't want to add comment "add line-break".
   If I choose to use Insert the text tool and type "add line-break", when the comment will be imported and accepted in InDesign, it will change the text to "add line-break". We are using now different type of comment to avoid this designer mistake, which is less convenient.

   In some previous versions of Acrobat (not sure when it stopped working), I was able to add space or paragraph by using the Insert Text tool and pressing Enter or space bar, following the instruction I shared in my original post. Now I can't.

   I hope this issue can be resolved!

8. Adobe Scan, implement support for macro camera mode on newer phones (iPhone, android)

   On newer phones, cameras have specific functionality for macro photography. This is ideally suited for scanning documents, business cards, receipts and other documents.

   Without this mode enabled, scans of documents often turn out blurry. The operator must move the phone further away from the document than expected causing multiple mis-scans and rescans.

   Implement support where possible for macro mode on phones such as the iPhone 15.

9. folders like browsers have bookmarks in, please

   It would be SO helpful (jquery) to perhaps accordion style folder for PDFs; each folder can be named and should let pdfs drag and drop onto it. Are you following me on it? I have WAY too many PDFs to reasonably find one quickly even via search, which needs updated too because it doesn’t return appropriate file names or even parts of titles. Waste so much time scrolling through tons of PDFs.

10. Continuous ticking

    Is it possible to double click on a tick (or crosses, circles etc) so multiple ticks can be positioned without having to constantly select it?
    Currently to fill in a form one must constantly select tick and then position it, with this update one would have to double tap the tick and select multiple positions to drop a tick. This would save a significant amount of time.

12. External monitor

    Acrobat can not be used on external monitor for iPad. It does not work. It will open files but you are unable to do anything with them. If you go back to the iPad screen you can. This is unacceptable form adobe. You pay premium price for something that does not work.

14. No printer was found…

    After installing iOS update (17.1.1) Reader (23.10.01) lost posililiby to print. iPhone can print in local network via printer aplication, but Acrobat Resder asks to choose a printer, after taping it (on one item list) Reader is trying to get information about the printer, than printer disappears from the list, and Reader asks to choose the printer again… Is there any chance to fix the bug?

    Necesito firmar los documentos pdf con mi certificado digital y la aplicación o no lo permite, o yo no se cómo hacerlo. En el ordenador no tengo problema, pero en mi Ipad (10ª generación) no encuentro la opción de hacerlo.

19. Changing the name of a file when initially saving it to my computer/iphone or cloud.

    I have the need, and I’m sure others do to, when initially saving a pdf file to my computer or iPhone or to the cloud I’m in need of renaming the file or naming it myself when saving. The file names that it saves them with are always numbers or something crazy I’ll never remember. I do know I can go into it and rename it then. But being able to do it when I initially am downloading and saving would be a LOT easier on me and others.
    If u already have this feature I apologize I have missed finding it. If ur in the process of setting this up right now I apologize for not seeing it.
    Plz lmk if u can do this. All other softwares I’ve used I’m permitted to save the file when I down load it as I name I’ll remember.
