    2) Click the Sign button
    3) Click the little minus button next to your signature
    4) The signature is immediately and irrevocably deleted.

    This also works for Initials.

Need a confirmation window, or the ability to undo the deletion.

If I didn't have a scanner handy after accidentally doing this, I would be royally screwed right now.

(I have not investigated whether this behavior is configurable, but even having this as a default setting seems like a very bad idea)

  3. Adobe Reader DC updated to Continuous Release 2020.012.20048 (File version 20.012.20048.6926). I open a SCANNED PDF and immediately get error reading:
A font package is required to correctly display this page. Click "OK" to direct your browser to download the add-on from adobe.com. After installation, you will need to close and re-open the document to correctly view contents dependent on these newly installed fonts.

I click OK and eventually get directed to: https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=6839&fileID=6837

This page has a "Download Now" button but when clicked does nothing - no download is initiated and I get no warning of a popup being blocked.

  5. Reader DC v2020.012.20048
    Windows 10 10.0.19042 Build 19042, IE 11.572.19041

PDFs embeddd in IE 11, or using the "Preview PDF" tab in Livecycle designer, no longer show user dialogs triggered using "xha.host.messageBox" or "app.alert". Other "xfa.host" functions still return data. When opening the PDF 'stand alone' everything works as expected.

Here's an simple example form. The button should show two message dialogs as well as information in a text box. Interestingly the code continues to execute after the calls to xfa.host.messageBox and app.alert, and the text box is correctly populated.

  9. Please provide a viewing option that allows the user to see proper reader spreads. (Spreads that don't shift the cover to the left side, so proofers can see actual reader spreads, with odd pages on the right and even pages on the left).

  10. Quite often we print all the pages of the documents
But most of the documents (Bank statements/ rental agreements / Utility Bills) carry a section for disclosure / disclaimer which are not needed when making copies.
if you can prompt the user to proceed with the print or skip the disclosure section may save paper, save trees, save environment.

  13. Acrobat Reader DC was updated to ver.20.012.20041 the other day.

Since then, the following error message appears when printing with the command.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has stopped working
The program did not work properly due to a problem.

The program will close and Windows will notify you if there is a solution

Printing is done just by issuing a message.

The command I am using is:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /n /p /h "<PDF file path>"

The execution environment is as follows.
    OS: Windows 7 Professional sp1 64bit
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @3.40GHz 3.40GHz
    RAM: 8.00GB

  15. Acrobat reader DC. Windows 7 x64 desktop.
Load a PDF (in my case some A1 building plans) into reader.
    Rotate view 90 degrees.
Now re-size the reader application window by grabbing left or right edge.
You will see the bug - can't really miss it. Document suddenly reverts 90 degress and stretches then rotates back when you let go.
    Not fatal, just unsightly.

  16. Adobe Reader DC prints only top part of text lines. View shows complete lines. The problem started a few days ago. Clean up of Adobe and re-installation didn't fix the issue. Drivers are up to date. Manipulation with setup (smooth lines etc) didn't help.

  17. someone already said it Ill say it again **, I just wanted to SAVE. To use the SAVE function which has presumably existed and been replicated successfully on every other word processing program and PDF editor. Nice little gadgets and ads ** *** too bad I CANT SAVE ANYTHING.

I am using an up-to-date Windows 10 computer.
When trying to save, a totally blank, white 'save as' prompt appears that does nothing, leaving no choice as far as I could find but to exit without saving. Thank ******

  19. In todays world, many browsers now have built-in PDF viewers to help deal with end of browser plugins and the rise of HTML 5 and mobile apps. Can you please consider eliminating browser plugin for Adobe Reader DC and make Adobe Reader a Mac and Windows App store app as quickly as possible to modernize pdf experience and introduce adobe Scan app which uploads scanned document from iPhone directly to mac or windows PC as well.

As many websites are going HTML 5 and browser plugin support is being reduced, we need to see adobe acrobat reader app converted from…

  20. I would like to turn a certain PDF into a .jpg and I do not anticipate a need to do this again in the near future. Seems a little out of touch to expect anyone to pay $15.00 for a month and “potentially” hundreds of dollars to use a service only once or twice in a year.
On your most economical plan, Adobe receives about half of a dollar per day and allows an unlimited number of document conversions , as well as other services.

Adobe should offer an alternative payment schedule of $1.00 per document,
    up to, $3.00 for…
