   I’ve been using Acrobat for several years now, and I must say, the software has come a long way in terms of functionality and ease of use. However, I think there are a few areas where the editing experience could be enhanced further, especially for those of us who frequently work with complex documents.

   1. Advanced Text Editing Tools
      While Acrobat does offer basic text editing, it would be great to see more advanced options such as better handling of fonts, line spacing, and more robust paragraph formatting. Sometimes, the text formatting doesn’t transfer perfectly when editing PDFs, and it would be beneficial to have more options for precise control.

   2. Collaboration Tools
      While the commenting and markup tools are useful, I feel that adding more real-time collaboration features could be a game-changer. Being able to see edits and feedback live (similar to Google Docs) would improve workflow significantly, especially for teams that are working on large documents simultaneously.

   3. More Integration with Other Platforms
      It would be fantastic if Acrobat could integrate more smoothly with other platforms we use regularly. For instance, a deeper integration with mobile gaming and entertainment platforms would be amazing.    Dear Adobe Reader Team,

   I’m writing to express deep frustration with the changes introduced in the new Acrobat interface — specifically, the removal of the ability to select text and immediately begin typing to trigger a "Replace Text" comment.

   This function was an essential, intuitive, and efficient part of proofreading workflows used by editors, translators, and reviewers worldwide. It allowed for quick and fluid markup, especially in large documents where time and precision are everything. With the new system, this process has become:

   • Slower

   • Clunkier

   • Hidden under unnecessary clicks and menus

   • Visibly designed with form over function

   You’ve taken a tool that was built for professionals and turned it into something that feels like it’s optimized for the occasional PDF doodler.

   We don't need more icons. We don't need bigger buttons. We need speed and control — and right now, the only way to get that is to use outdated software or switch to a competitor.

   If the new UI must exist, at the very least:

   • Let users set the default commenting behavior back to the legacy style for real (no more "Disable New Reader" that glitches a lot and keeps us in fear of not having it someday)

   • Or add an “Editor Mode” or “Classic Commenting” toggle that restores efficient workflows

   Please don’t mistake silence for satisfaction. There are hundreds of professionals quietly mourning the old Acrobat — or actively switching to other tools because they simply can’t keep up with the friction this UI has introduced.

   We want to keep using your software. But right now, it feels like you’ve abandoned the people who know how to use it best.

7. Advanced Search Window should be anchored

   When launching the Advanced Search window, it opens as a separate window. It is a floating page. It should be anchored to the viewed documents page. Currently, it gets hidden if a user clicks on any other windows, and it does not move if you move Adobe from one screen to another. You have to manually move both. Please anchor Advanced Search to the main Adobe window.

9. there is no way to submit feedback

   came here because filename that appears in the tab in Adobe Acrobat 32-bit is different from actual filename, and online says maybe metadata, and unable to find anyuthing about that issue for others or a fix, and during that time trying to submit a bug it calls it ideas and wants me to give up on reporting a bug - takes away bug reporting options as soon as i give my 'bug ' a title - so try to submit feedback through link that says give feedback through acrobat dc but it just takes you back to searching irrelevant 'ideas' and other unrelated bugs that happen to have a singular word in common (not helpful when using 'adobe' on an adobe site, btw). overall ridiculous and made me cry that adobe can't just support thousands of workers who know these things, and the systems needed to empower people to provide that service to each other. this is such an obvious tactic to avoid work and enslave automations to do subpar work, possibly even negative work.
