1. NEW BUG post upgrade to 26.01.21745 - When the "choose paper source by pdf page size" is enabled, a print error is received.

   NEW BUG

1: Error Printing Post 26.01.21745 Update

2: Attempt to print, once upgraded to the version mentioned above, with the "choose paper source by pdf page size" selected

   3: Windows 11

4: Should print without issue as it does in the prior versions

5: Gives an error and does not print (would have to print page sizes separately, and this can cause issues printing loan packages as each document must be printed on a specific page size)

Worked with support, and their suggestion was to disable the "Enable Protected Mode at startup" option. This does resolve the issue; however, printing worked as expected in the 26.01.21691 version (validated this) with this option enabled when using the "choose paper source by pdf page size" option.

2. Running multiple freelance profiles without getting banned

I have been freelancing for a while and I want to branch out into different niches under separate profiles to attract different clients. The problem is the main platforms are really strict about having only one identity. How do people handle this without getting flagged and losing everything overnight?

3. Cosa manca a Chicken Road?

Ciao a tutti!

4. What Is the Hardest Part of Writing a University Assignment?

University assignments can be challenging for different reasons. Some students struggle with understanding the question, while others find research, planning, referencing, or academic writing more difficult. I’d be interested to hear what part of an assignment you find the most challenging and how you usually deal with it. Do you prefer using online resources, discussing ideas with classmates, or getting assignment writing help (https://www.assignmenthelper.ie) when you need extra guidance?

5. Latin OCR in Acrobat Reader

I often use the OCR feature on Acrobat Reader. Many of the texts I work with are in Latin. You have a long list of languages that can be OCR'd, but Latin isn't included--yet. Would love to see it added.

8. Adobe Acrobat Reader 2026.001.21529 32 bit update endlessly loops to the same version on Windows 7

I understand Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft since 2020, and 32 bit version of Acrobat Reader is no longer supported since 2023, nevertheless I see this version for DC base (32 bit) has been released on the 1st May of 2026, so what gives? I see in this version that after I've updated to it, if I were to check for Updates, I keep getting the same version as the one installed as an update!

9. Improving PDF Reading for Online Research

Hi everyone! I'm Amy Dale, a relationship content editor. I often use PDFs when researching international dating and cultural differences. While working on my guide at https://thetravellingfrenchman.com/chinese-dating-sites-and-apps/, I realized how useful better PDF highlighting and annotation tools would be for organizing research. Does anyone have tips for managing multiple PDF sources in Acrobat?

    5. After several seconds, Acrobat Reader terminates without displaying the printer properties.

    Environment:

    • Adobe Acrobat version: 26.1.21771.0
    • Operating system: Windows 11 64-bit
    • Printer: RISO ORPHIS FT5230
    • Computer environment: Windows domain-joined PC
    • Faulting application: Acrobat.exe

    Windows Error Reporting information:

12. How Do You Organize and Share PDF Travel Guides?

Hi everyone! I'm Amy Dale, and I often work with content about international dating, relationships, and cultural differences.

Recently, I've been exploring Brazilian dating culture and resources like https://brazilian-dating.com/, which got me thinking about creating short PDF guides for people planning international trips and first meetings.

I'd love to make these guides easy to read on both phones and laptops, with clickable links, images, and simple navigation.

For those who regularly use Adobe Acrobat, what's the best way to create interactive PDFs without making the files too large? Do you prefer using bookmarks, clickable tables of contents, or internal links?

I'd appreciate any tips or examples from your experience!

13. PKCS#11 “Attach Module” button remains disabled on macOS — Acrobat Reader 2026.002.21901, including under Rosetta

    Hello Adobe Acrobat Reader Team,

I am unable to add a PKCS#11 module in Adobe Acrobat Reader on my Mac because the “Attach Module” button is greyed out and cannot be clicked.

    Environment

    Application: Adobe Acrobat Reader
Version: 2026.002.21901 — Continuous Release, Unified App
    Operating system: macOS 27.0.1
    Processor: Apple M5
    Interface language: Turkish
Related software: AKİA, which successfully detects my electronic signature device
    Steps to reproduce

    Open Adobe Acrobat Reader.
    Go to Preferences > Signatures.
Open “Identities & Trusted Certificates” using the “More” button.
    Select “PKCS#11 Modules and Tokens.”
    Attempt to click “Attach Module.”
    Expected result

The “Attach Module” button should be enabled so that I can select the PKCS#11 library provided by my electronic signature middleware.

    Actual result

The PKCS#11 buttons remain greyed out. I cannot open the file selection dialog or attempt to load a module. The issue therefore occurs before any PKCS#11 library is selected.

    Troubleshooting already performed

Disabled “Enable Enhanced Security,” but the buttons remained disabled.
    Launched Acrobat Reader using Rosetta.
Confirmed in macOS Activity Monitor that the Acrobat process is listed as “Intel,” verifying that it is running under Rosetta. The buttons still remained disabled.
Checked the security preferences; the “Enable Protected Mode at startup” option is not visible in my installation.
The electronic signature device is detected by AKİA on the same Mac. However, I cannot configure its PKCS#11 module in Acrobat Reader because the module attachment controls are disabled.

Please investigate this issue and advise whether there is a supported workaround for this version and configuration. If this is already a known issue, please provide the relevant bug reference. If diagnostic logs are needed, please provide macOS-specific instructions for collecting them.

    Thank you.

PDF Portfolio file-list pane ignores its last width and opens excessively wide; no initial-width setting is available.

We desperately need initial-view options for the file-list pane; the way it opens now in the new interface looks very unprofessional and forces users to revert to the old interface.

16. Bug: Session restore opens all tabs on the page of the last active tab

    Description

Acrobat Reader seems to store only one page number.
When opening it tries to open all files with this same page number.
Reproduced with a second pair of PDFs (8 and 45 pages).

    Preconditions

    • Open PDFs from last session on Acrobat launch: enabled
    • Restore last view settings when reopening documents: enabled

    Steps to Reproduce

    • Open two files as two tabs in the same window.
    • File 1: Go to a page number > than max page number of file 2.
    • File 2: Go to any page except the last one.

    Example:

    | File | Number of pages | Page before closing | Notes |

    | File 1 | 395 | 150 | 150 > 119 |
    | File 2 | 119 | 10 | 10 < 119 |

    • Make file 1 the active file.
    • Close Acrobat Reader completely (Command + Q).
    • Reopen Acrobat Reader.

    Expected Result

    • File 1: Page 150 is active.
    • File 2: Page 10 is active.

    Actual Result

    • File 1 opens on page 150.
    • File 2 opens on page 119 (last page of the file).

17. How VPN Server Coverage Affects Speed and Flexibility

When comparing VPN providers, I realized that server coverage plays a much bigger role than I expected. It’s not just about privacy — it directly affects speed and connection stability. While researching, I checked https://toggle.org/servers right in the middle of comparing options, and it helped me understand how server locations and availability impact real performance. With a wider network, it’s easier to find a fast connection and avoid overloaded regions, especially for streaming or gaming.

19. Protected Mode prevents opening a second PDF from an SSHFS-Win/WinFsp network drive

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Enable "Protected Mode at startup" in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
    2. Completely exit Reader.
    3. Open File Explorer and navigate to an SSHFS-Win/WinFsp network drive mapped as Z:.
    4. Double-click a PDF. It opens normally.
    5. Leave Reader running.
    6. Return to File Explorer and double-click a different PDF on the same Z: drive.

    Environment:
    - Windows 11
    - Adobe Acrobat Reader Continuous Release 2026.002.21931, 64-bit
    - SSHFS-Win / WinFsp
    - Network drive mapped as Z:
    - Windows reports the remote path as \sshfs\kalmer@192.168.1.173....

    Expected result:
The second PDF opens in the already running Reader instance.

    Observed result:
Nothing happens. No error message is displayed.

    Additional testing:
    - The first PDF opens normally when Reader is not running.
    - The second PDF can be opened with Reader's File > Open.
    - The same PDF opens normally from Z: in Microsoft Edge.
    - JPG files on the same Z: drive open normally by double-clicking.
    - A PDF copied to a local drive opens normally.
    - Disabling "Protected Mode at startup" completely resolves the problem.
    - Re-enabling Protected Mode immediately reproduces it.
    - Adding Z:\ as a Privileged Location does not resolve it.
    - The Protected Mode log does not appear to contain the requested PDF path when the second open attempt fails.

This appears to be specifically an interaction between Protected Mode and passing a second document from Windows to an already running Reader instance when the document is on an SSHFS-Win/WinFsp filesystem.

A similar historical Adobe issue was reported with DFS/UNC network paths, and Adobe bug 3844582 concerned UNC/symbolic-link paths.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Enable "Protected Mode at startup" in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
    2. Completely exit Reader.
    3. Open File Explorer and navigate to an SSHFS-Win/WinFsp network drive mapped as Z:.
    4. Double-click a PDF. It opens normally.
    5. Leave Reader running.
    6. Return to File Explorer and double-click a different PDF on the same Z: drive.

    Environment:
    - Windows 11
    - Adobe Acrobat Reader Continuous Release 2026.002.21931, 64-bit
    - SSHFS-Win / WinFsp
    - Network drive mapped as Z:
