BUG- Acrobat Reader DC (64-bit) mailto - One of the specified recipients is not resolvable
Hi,
A pdf form with a button with action to submit form to e-mail address was working in 32-bit version for more than a year. After installing 64-bit version, it gives the message " One of the specified recipients is not resolvable" regardless the e-mail address.
64-bit version is 2021.007.20099, installed on Windows 10.
So button action is "on focus submit a form", url "mailto:address@site.com" (no spaces)
It is only one e-mail address which works in 32-bit or in Android version but no longer in 64-bit.
I tried also with "mailto:nobody@adobe.com", addresses from yahoo or gmail - nothing changes.
Tried with <>, '', "", added spaces, //, nothing changes.
If I leave empty "mailto:" it opens correctly the e-mail client but I have to type the address by myself, which I would like to avoid.
I attached sample of the reduced file, only for testing the submit action.

remove print and save buttons from toolbar
Since I do not use these buttons, and can use keyboard shortcut I want to remove them as when have muti-windows open and Reader is small portion of screen, the only visible tools are not useful. Other windows may not be Reader. The only useful tools are the find and page. This worked well in older versions of reader and acrobat in general.

Allow user to open documents in read mode by default
Allow users to tick a box in preference so that it becomes possible to open all pdf documents in read mode by default, and revert back to a more complete mode only when needed.

Bug report ... x2
There is an obvious and consistent bug in Reader DC. When you enter the page X that you want to go to in the X/Y display in the ribbon, you have to do it TWICE. (The first time it self-destructs.) Admittedly this is a minor annoyance, but it makes Adobe look a bit silly and unprofessional. The second bug ... when I check that I have the latest version of Reader, the whole shebbang crashes! (No way would I buy a paid-for copy of this!)

Why do I get all of this marketing **** when I try to use my paid version of your online product. It makes it hard to use with banners and ads, I just want to use the basic DC cloud for Adobe editing not all of this **** that makes it hard to use... I am always bomborded with new products that make it hard to find the product that I am paying for .... Adobe needs to listen to their customers!
I had to use Microsoft free version to accomplish my goal of printing a PDF to make it smaller. The Paid version of Adobe DC did not do the job.

Bug: automatic hyperlinking of URLs in plain text includes punctuation
Today I learned that when a PDF's text includes URLs that are -not- marked up as hyperlinks, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Apple Preview, and Google Chrome's built-in PDF renderer all attempt to convert the URLs to clickable hyperlinks for the reader's convenience.
However, Adobe Acrobat Reader does a noticeably worse job than the other software. Specifically: if the URL is followed by punctuation, Acrobat includes the punctuation in the target of the hyperlink, resulting in a broken link. Apple Preview and Google Chrome handle punctuation correctly.
You can see this behavior by opening the attached PDF in Acrobat, Preview, Chrome, and Firefox. (The Microsoft Word document I used to produce the PDF is also attached). The PDF includes some hyperlinks, some plain text URLs, and a variety of punctuation.
The most interesting cases are #2 and #3:
- Adobe Acrobat converts both plain text URLs to hyperlinks automatically, but gets it wrong, including ALL the punctuation, including the comma, the quotation marks, and the closing bracket (if present).
- Apple Preview converts both plain text URLs to hyperlinks automatically, and gets it right, including no punctuation
- Google Chrome (for Mac) does NOT convert the URL in #2 to a hyperlink; it converts the URL in #3 correctly
- Firefox (for Mac) doesn't convert either of them.If Acrobat were improved to behave like Apple Preview or Google Chrome, LOTS of documents around the world would start having working, clickable links for readers that use Acrobat. In particular, URLs in the footnotes/citations/bibliographies of a large number of scholarly publications would start working for people.

Saludos,

Free Form Highlighter - Straight Line Option
When highlighting scanned documents, would be very helpful to have a key stroke option to force the tool to highlight a straight line. Acrobat will currently do this automatically for short/very straight segments. Please consider adding option to hold down a key (e.g., shift, ctrl, etc.) while using the tool to force a straight line rather than truly free form - which can be very messy and unprofessional in appearance depending on the context.

Bug - Portrait pictures rotating in Acrobat reader but presenting as right way orientated when tested in pdf Acrobat
When I put an image field in PDF Acrobat form - and then test it, it will upload portrait pictures the right way. However, when you open the same document in Adobe Reader, and upload the picture, the picture is then orientated (sometimes various orientations but never the right one). If I rotate the picture first and then try and put it in the Adobe Reader form, it remains rotated in the position I don't want so I still don't get the right presentation. This does not happen with pictures that are taken in landscape from my camera - only pictures taken in portrait positions.
I basically have a fillable form and I want to upload a different picture of the client every time I see a different client (as these are their recommendations)

Tradutor
Ketti Maria

Support for sinature images with transparent background
Currently when you add an image of your signature already prepared with a transparent background, Reader will discard the transparency and crop the signature. The result looks good on white backgrounds only and even there only when not overlapping any lines.
Please add support for using sinatures with transparency untouched.1 vote -
Acrobat Reader 2017 start menu shortcut not removed after installing Reader 2020
In Windows 10, after installing Acrobat Reader 2020 the start menu shortcut for the previous installation of Reader (2017) has not been removed. The Reader 2020 installer is expected to remove the Reader 2017 start menu shortcut. This does occur as expected if the base version of Reader 2017 (17.008.30051) is installed prior to installing Reader 2020.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Install Windows 10 Enterprise.
2. Install Adobe Reader 2017 (Classic Track) using bootstrapper installation (setup.exe). Setup.ini includes PATCH command under [Product] section; PATCH=AcroRdr2017Upd1701130196_MUI.msp.
3. Install Adobe Reader 2020 (Classic Track) using bootstrapper installation (setup.exe).Bootstrapper Deployment

Prevent Adobe Reader DC window from move/resize/zoom from pdf file InitialView definition
Hello,
I have usually opened few pdf files on my 3rd monitor (datasheets, manuals, etc - documentation for somethig that I work on right now), I also send inquires and initialize orders for things I need to... When I open pdf with invoices/inquires those files tends to move the Adobe Reader window to my center (primary) monitor and resize it (and change zoom) - it drives me mad.
I did a bit research and this must happens because those files have defined so called "InitialView", so here is my petition:Add option that prevent window Adobe Reader DC from moving and resizing when opening pdf file that have this "annoying InitalView" set up (e.g. checkbox with name: "Ignore InitialView of pdf document")

I need the recognition of my work
Dear leader, hello, I reported 17 stack exhaustion vulnerabilities to Adobe's security department through hackerone. This type of vulnerabilities have always been given cve numbers and thank you(e.g. CVE-2020-3753/CVE-2020-3756/CVE-2020-9611/CVE-2020-9702/CVE-2020-9703/CVE-2017-16419), but your security department notified me that these 17 bugs that I reported will not be given cve numbers and acknowledgements, I think it is unfair to me. And these 16 vulnerabilities did have an impact on your products, I also made contributions, I deserve the cve number and acknowledgements. Thanks.

Change drawing tool pen tip
Use a circle tip for the drawing/annotating tool. Right now, it's a square and this makes the letters look jagged (as compared to the circle tip in OneNote for example)
