  3. Microsoft Access Cloud:

For over twenty years, Microsoft Access Database has been one of the leading relational databases used by modern enterprises, a critical part of Office and Microsoft 365. It is a pioneer in low-code, no code database solution development. However, with the emergence of the cloud, Access customers tell us they need more hybrid solutions that keep the value and ease of use of Access with the value and flexibility of cloud-based storage and development platforms.

Making your Access solutions mobile with the Power Platform

One of the most requested capabilities Access users ask for is the ability…

  4. When I click on a line of text in a PDF the result is text and other graphical elements getting scrambled with weird coloured glitches. I provide two examples using two different PDFs. The issues goes away if I scroll down the document and then return on the same page.

  5. On December 16 2021 Acrobat DC was updated on my PC.
I have the Dutch version of the application.
After this update the rightclick contextmenu suddenly contains the letters 'w' and 'o' twice.
    Check the screenshot below.

  6. When an image copied from one PDF and pasted to another PDF, it always got pasted in place and with the same size. However, now what happens is: 1) the pasted image position is always in the centre of page. 2) the image is smaller in size, then when I scale it to be bigger, the quality is very pixelated.

This issue never happened before. I've always used the same Acrobat.

Please fix this ASAP!! It is very annoying. Thank you

  7. Steps to reproduce:
    1. Install Acrobat Reader 64bits on Windows
    2. Install any 3rdPargy Acrobat Reader plug-in, e.g. the "BasicPlugin" from Acrobat SDK samples
    3. Launch Acrobat Reader 64bits
    4. Acrobat Reader 64bits was launched, but after 3~4 seconds, Application crashed.

    Notes:
    * Only an issue on Windows
    * Only an issue on Acrobat Reader 64bits.
    * Not an issue for Acrobat Reader 32bits
    * Not an issue for Acrobat DC 64bits
    * This can be simply reproduced by using the "BasicPlugin" sample that comes with Acrobat SDK

    Please consider fixing the crash.

  8. i need to have 2 different type of signature ie one drawn using personal name and one drawn using company name. Presently this is not allowed as one can only have one drawn signature per account.

there should be a feature to allow for multiple signatures in one account as different document requires different signature.

Am not sure why we are allowed to create namy digital signatures when one can only have one drawn signature at any one time.

    please add this feature.

  9. By Editing PDF fields in Adobe Acrobat DC user has to be logged in. By on click on edit, it opens the popup for "7 days test period". This pop up you can't close or you can't quit the application.

    Software:
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.007.20099

    Hardware:
    Architecture: x86_64
    Processor: Intel
    Build: 21.7.20099.455081
    AGM: 4.30.111
    CoolType: 6.0.0
    JP2K: 2.0.2.49666

Also, the webpage and the registration process is fully with bugs. I have the feeling, the Adobe lost the quality.

  10. The comment-filtering tool isn’t working as it used to. Before this issue, the comments I marked/checked as ‘completed’ would hide automatically when I set the comments-filter to ‘none’. I could then easily see how many comments there left unsolved. Now I have to constantly “manually refresh” the filter to get the checked comment to hide as I am working though the document.

By “manually refreshing” I mean go into the filter menu, change filter to ‘none’ and ‘completed’, click use, then go back to the filter menu and choose only ‘none’ and click use. This is a really wierd change…

  11. Many PDF documents contain internal links. When clicking on these, the user is taken to another part of the document. It would be incredibly useful to me and my colleagues if there was a 'preview link' option. Perhaps this could work by hovering the mouse over the link, and the preview to the link pops up in a small temporary window, allowing you to quickly view the link, without redirecting to a different page.

The motivation for this is as follows: In mathematical sciences, these internal links often refer to equations earlier in the document, which are being combined to…

  12. The copy paste function doesn't work with words that contain letters with accents on my Mac running Big Sur. Letters with accents paste as a space. It doesn't matter where I paste the text. The result is the same. This is a real problem for people using languages with a lot of accents. I'm able to open the same PDF using Preview and copy/paste the same text and see all the letters.

I opened another PDF that was created years ago with accented letters. The copy/paste worked in my browser and in Preview. I had the same problem when copying/pasting…

  13. The unsolicited imposition of Acrobat Reader DC on my iMac has created nothing but problems for me. I am comfortable only with certain functions on the computer and the unwanted changes to my PDF files has caused a high level of frustration.

  14. If addressbook.acrodata is generated by updating Adobe Approved Trust List (AATL), EUTL will be corrupted. The default behavior of Adobe Reader when opening a signed document for the first time is to prompt for update of AATL. This causes EUTL to stop working and can only be solved by deleting addressbook.acrodata and update EUTL and AATL in the correct order.

    Steps to reproduce the issue:
    1. Install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
    2. Open a document signed with an EUTL certificate.
    3. Accept the prompt for Trust Certificates Update.

    Environment:
Freshly installed clean VM with Windows 10 20H2(19042.985)
    Adobe Acrobat Reader…

  15. Let me repeat honestly because I am exasperated by Adobe's incompetence:
After decades, when Acrobat Reader starts, it still has not figured out how to reopen pdf files at the right page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you justify this BIG problem after so many years of having created Adobe Reader?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us for your query.
This feature is already available in Acrobat Reader. Here is how you can turn that on.

    1) Go to Edit → Preferences → “Documents” Tab
    2) Select the checkbox for “Restore last view settings when reopening documents”

This preference will make sure that your Acrobat reader remembers the last view of the pdf when it was closed and reopened.

    Hope it helps ?

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  16. I use acrobat for work and use it mostly for map prints I have to add notes and add lines. So I use the connected line tools from the comment section to draw the lines from certain points on the map print but I don't really like it because it sometimes makes it hard to get to one point to the next when I have the map print zoomed in . I can't scroll to get to the next point when using the connected lines tool. It's frustrating, so I would like there to be a pen tool like in…

  17. Adobe should have a feature to assign different passwords to different PDF file in one go.

Also a feature to send / share this multiple files to their individual recipient in one go.

  18. The "Save" function for saving a pdf is extremely annoying, it behaves like "Save as". And from googling I see this is "as designed"??? Why would you design the "Save" function to behave like "Save as". It's like 4-5 clicks to save one pdf! I see others complaining about this also. Why would such a big company design it this way one wonders..when every other program uses "Save" as they're supposed to.

  19. Clicking on internal links in pdfs make you jump to the pointed position: E.g. in scientific papers, if you click on the source number you jump the source which is normally at the end of the pdf.

If you want to continue reading it is (as far as I know) impossible to jump back. It would be nice to include some options inspired by browsers: I would like to have the option to open the same pdf in a new tab/window again at the desired position so that after checking the source you can continue reading in the original tab.…

  20. The eraser drawing tool slowly removes highlights and drawing lines and this problem makes you nervous, please fix this important problem.
Of course, adding an option to erase all lines and highlights in one go to the eraser is another suggestion.
