  1. I am an IT manager with 28 PCs and 5 Macs. Cannot print mixed originals with latest DC version. Mac version still works. I've had to reactivate XI on some machines because we rely heavily on printing mixed originals. Obviously XI is no longer supported and I am running into other issues with that.

  2. It's very essential more than helpful to stick the comment toolbar always on the menu so that we do not have to open it each time we open a document.

For all of the machines in my Win 10 2004 test group, the Reader plugin for IE (AcroPDF64.dll) has lost the ability to start the print dialog, either from the handy button in the border UI, the drop down menu, or Ctrl+P. In all cases nothing happens. There are a variety of versions on the affected machines but most of them are quite current (20.9.20063 and ...65). The problem is restricted to IE (11 I have no other versions to check) and the new windows 10 2004 feature build.

  4. Photoshop for iPad is of great importance especially for natural work with a pencil. Especially with tools like brush, eraser ... But why isn't the "blur" tool available in Photoshop for iPad? This tool is directly designed for the pencil, according to my experience. Would it be possible to supplement it?

  5. Similar to Explorer, allow dragging an area as a selection box for comment elements. Selecting multiple elements is only possible by holding CTRL and left clicking, which can get time consuming if you have a bigger number of comments on your documents.

  6. Reader highlights, but doesn't copy the accented Greek alpha with smooth breathing in text:

    pdftotext reads it just fine, as does MacOS PDF reading system.

  7. This document can't be printed successfully on my Windows 10 PC. It stalls partway through preparing to print, and then after several minutes reports a print failure.

  8. Our company has an active Enterprise license agreement for Acrobat and other products. One of the key reasons we did this was to enable Federated IDs for access to the applications so that the ID would be integrated to Azure AD. Users that only need Reader and do not require a full-blown licensed copy of Acrobat are not able to login to Reader. The only way to login to Reader is to create a personal, ‘Adobe ID’ which is then outside of corporate control or management.   10. We have multiple users with this intermittent issue. Some times the PDF font will show up properly, sometimes it is gibberish and unreadable. It is inconsistent and I cannot seem to resolve the issue.

When viewing a file with Adobe Reader in the File Explorer preview pane, the file gets cut off if the DPI scaling level changes or if the File Explorer window is dragged between monitors with different DPI scaling levels. This is very annoying as it can make documents chopped off and/or hard to read. It seems to be an issue with Adobe Reader previewer not correctly/responding to scaling changes. As you can see in the image, the previewer is so cut off that you can't even see the controls or the scroll bar.

  12. We have a web based application running on our Citrix environment. We are running Windows Server 2016 (1607) and Citrix VAD 1912 LTSR CU1. The users login to the web based application and eventually it will trigger the opening of a PDF within Internet Explorer. This process will work most the time but we find after the user does anywhere from 7-10 instances of the process Internet Explorer will crash.

    We first monitored performance on our server but identified there are no CPU/RAM bottlenecks. We even isolated users to one server to test and they still have the issue. We…

  14. Please add to the app settings the option to add and remove quick actions from the context menu in File Explorer in Windows 10 for PDFs. Since doing it manually through the Registry Editor is very inconvenient.

    Try to find any thing by typing in Find input box

  17. We see in the last month/year a much bader update experience for reader than before. The formerly usable ftp-server is not actual anymore:
    ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/AcrobatDC/
    And we see lots of customers where the function "Search for updates" inside Reader is GONE - even a clean NEW installation does not show it anymore! So what can be done if this position is gone in the help menu? And how can update enrollment be done better (actually we get the ARM folder on an updated PC and deply this packet afterwards, but this only works incremental - and if one version is missing…

  19. Acrobat Reader allows to highlight text and then enter comments to the highlighted text into the separate panel on the right of the text. I use this feature a lot, when reviewing papers. It would be very handy for me if the comments in the right panel were somehow marked with the same colour as the highlighting in the text. Such feature would allow me easily navigate between the comments later, when making a summary: e.g. first selecting green comments, then red comments etc.

    "Playback of non-Flash media (excluding *.flv and *.swf) content in PDFs will continue to be supported."

    I tested the sample-formatter-richmedia.pdf file in Acrobat Reader "Continuous Release 2020.009.20074" with Flash disabled and the video was not playable.
