2. Reader DC 2021.011.20039 uninstallation bug

   We are working with SCCM/packaging and we discovered a problem when trying to uninstall latest Reader DC 2021.011.20039 from computers by command line. Uninstallation seems to be finished successfully (Reader DC is removed from Programs and Features) but the process "hangs" and never ends, which will cause SCCM or other install system to report it as still running/in progress and not report as success. Attached is a log file from one instance of this issue. We were able to reproduce it on several VMs.

3. Hand and Select tool Bug Report

   Steps to reproduce the issue:
   1) Open any PDF
   2) Choose the hand tool (or select tool) from the toolbar user interface
   3) Close the PDF (progam does not need to close)
   4) Open the PDF again
   5) Note which tool is now chosen (it is not the one you changed to)

   Environment: Windows 7

   Expected result: The setting to be remembered after closing the program or PDF and opening the program or PDF again next time.

   Observed result: Changing from select to hand or hand to select setting in the toolbar UI (Toolbar Item:->Select and Zoom Tools)

   Working Function: There is a way to make Adobe Acrobat remember, 1) Open a PDF
   2) Right-click in the open window
   3) Make you choice (select or hand tool)
   4) Close PDF
   5) Open PDF again
   6) Your setting will be the same as you chose before closing - SUCCESS :D

   But this bug should be fixed so it is working with both methods.

4. print bug causes Adobe Reader to crash

   There is a bug. When you want to print multiple sheets on one page and you select the customized amount and type in a zero in one of the two fields, the programm will crash when trying to generate the preview. (Version 2021.007.20099) On the older Version (2020.009.20063) of my old computer the programm generates a message, that the value must be between 1 and 99 and there is no crash

6. AcrobatInfo.exe

   In Windows, when Acrobat Reader is installed, AcrobatInfo.exe is registered as a COM server. It is registered with the wrong path : C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\AcrobatInfo.exe. The correct path is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\AcrobatInfo.exe. This has been a longstanding issue that I have seen reported by CCleaner for years.

   Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in german, locked in, on Windows, hp laptop

   Steps to reproduce the issue:

   1. copy any greek letter
   2. ad a commentbox (Textfeld hinzufügen)
   3. Paste the greek letter into the comment box
   4. tipe any letter on the keyboard
   5. greek letters appear (just when writing into a textbox)

   The same works for symbols as well. The keyboard then changes to symbols.

15. Weird graphic glitch when clicking on text

    When I click on a line of text in a PDF the result is text and other graphical elements getting scrambled with weird coloured glitches. I provide two examples using two different PDFs. The issues goes away if I scroll down the document and then return on the same page.

16. "Save" behaving like "Save as" - very frustrating!! Too many clicks to save each pdf

    The "Save" function for saving a pdf is extremely annoying, it behaves like "Save as". And from googling I see this is "as designed"??? Why would you design the "Save" function to behave like "Save as". It's like 4-5 clicks to save one pdf! I see others complaining about this also. Why would such a big company design it this way one wonders..when every other program uses "Save" as they're supposed to.

    On December 16 2021 Acrobat DC was updated on my PC.
    I have the Dutch version of the application.
    After this update the rightclick contextmenu suddenly contains the letters 'w' and 'o' twice.

18. Error with Paste in place an image copied from PDF to another PDF document

    When an image copied from one PDF and pasted to another PDF, it always got pasted in place and with the same size. However, now what happens is: 1) the pasted image position is always in the centre of page. 2) the image is smaller in size, then when I scale it to be bigger, the quality is very pixelated.

    This issue never happened before. I've always used the same Acrobat.

    Please fix this ASAP!! It is very annoying. Thank you

19. Bug: Acrobat Reader 64bits Windows crashes when 3rdParty Plugin installed

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Install Acrobat Reader 64bits on Windows
    2. Install any 3rdPargy Acrobat Reader plug-in, e.g. the "BasicPlugin" from Acrobat SDK samples
    3. Launch Acrobat Reader 64bits
    4. Acrobat Reader 64bits was launched, but after 3~4 seconds, Application crashed.

    Notes:
    * Only an issue on Windows
    * Only an issue on Acrobat Reader 64bits.
    * Not an issue for Acrobat Reader 32bits
    * Not an issue for Acrobat DC 64bits
    * This can be simply reproduced by using the "BasicPlugin" sample that comes with Acrobat SDK

    Please consider fixing the crash.

20. BUG: It is not possible to close the pop up and quit the application

    By Editing PDF fields in Adobe Acrobat DC user has to be logged in. By on click on edit, it opens the popup for "7 days test period". This pop up you can't close or you can't quit the application.
