An error occurred while saving the comment Russ Turrentine commentedI believe what they mean is that they can't crop and save the file without the information that was cropped out. People want to crop something and have it totally delete anything including white space outside the crop. That should reduce the file size. Just hiding something is not what people want. Think about cropping in Paint or other image program. Anything outside the crop is deleted entirely.

Sorry fot the inconvenience caused to you.
You can crop the file by following below steps.
1) Open a pdf
2) Click on edit pdf
3) Select option Crop Pages
4) Now select the desired area and click enter
5) Now you can select your desired settings for crop, click ok and save your file.An error occurred while saving the comment Russ Turrentine commentedNo, this is not resolved. It only hides anything outside of the cropped area. People want to completely get rid of the everything including white space outside of the crop. I read somewhere that the PDF standard is to just hide. That is not what people want and is really stupid in my opinion. Anyone can go back and see what you cropped out. It needs to be totally removed and reduce file size.

Hi James
You can extract complete page/pages using the pages app. Once extracted you can crop the new file as per your needs. This would maintain the original file resolution / clarity as required by you.
Please let me know if this works for you.Regards
VivekAn error occurred while saving the comment Russ Turrentine commentedNo, this would not work. This is similar to several other items I've seen marked resolved, but they really aren't. Once you crop a page, people want the ability to have that be they only part of the document. They don't want to just hide the other information. I've found that you can delete information outside of a crop, but if you review the crop again, you can see the white space around it. People want to delete EVERYTHING outside of the crop with no other white space. It should change paper size and reduce file size.

Erase stray marks on a scanned image. Erase background dots. Basically erase (get rid of) like delete whatever you erase totally removed from the file not hidden.
