  1. Pretty much every time I open Acrobat, I get a window asking me if I want to restore the previous documents, because Acrobat had crashed the last time (but I didn't notice this -- I quit it manually and no notification of a crash until the next time I start up).

  5. We are a publisher which also publishes PDF version online. In trying to use the latest version (2019.008.20081) to save as reduced file size, the text becomes corrupted.

  6. Steps to reproduce the bug: Open the attached pdf file and try to find the word "поиск" (using the search tool).

    Expected result: Acrobat finds the word "поиск" at the and of the first line.

    Observed result: Acrobat finds nothing.

    Environment: Windows; any version of Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.

  7. Acrobat Pro DC Version 2019.008.20081 - Windows 10 64bit

    I configured the initial view setting in the Document properties, such as Page Layout, magnification, open to page, and Window Options
    But the initial view configuration is ignored when I open the pdf document, and the Acrobat shows last view settings and page regardless initial view setting.

    For example, I set the "Page Layout" with Two up and "Open to Page"
    with 1. then save and close. when I reopen the document, the Acrobat shows single page layout view and page 5 as the las view before closing document.

  9. I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC and MadCap Flare 2018 r2 on a Windows 10 operating system.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Build a PDF in Flare.
    2. Open the PDF from inside Flare.
    3. Double-click on a different PDF in Windows Explorer.

    Expected result: Second PDF opens.
    Actual result: Second PDF does not open. The error message that shows up sometime later says: Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server.

    MadCap support has been unable to resolve the issue.

  10. There is a bug in this software that does not allow you to save the document. A blank window pops up and nothing shows, i.e. where the file could be saved. Only after several attempts does the "save as" window fully show up. What is the solution for this bug?

  11. dont crash and have a **** program that loses large amounts of work. Thank god there was an auto save oh wait it crashed and didnt work too.

  13. I mostly use the Edit or Prepare Form tools. While I'm updating my document, Acrobat crashes at random times. There is nothing consistent, it just seems to be more finicky after the most recent update. After it crashes, I reopen it and the customized toolbar on the right has reverted back to the default tools. This is very inconvenient and happens several times a day while editing or preparing a document. Is this a known issue and is there a fix for this?

  14. When I first open Acrobat the first time I try to do a SAVE AS to a different location...the document is not saved to the target location. Second time I tray it, document IS saved to target location.

  15. Resizing a window by dragging the lower right corner is very laggy. Often, the mouse pointer is halfway across the width of the window before the window starts to resize. It then jumps repeatedly to catch up with the mouse as you resize the window.

    On a late 2016 MacBook Pro, Mojave, 16 GB ram,

    bug?

    description of issue:
    - page zoom of pdf is fit width
    - select text/location where the link must be inserted
    - right mouse click -> create link
    link action = go to a page view
    - click next
    - go to page/section to where the link must go
    - click Set link
    - the pdf jumps back to the location of the selected text.

    and now the page zoom is not longer fit width but custom.

  17. Acrobat DC keeps crashing. I don't know if the crashes are being reported back to Adobe or not. It is Hanging/Crashing on SaveAs and during editing.

    Acrobat has inbuilt mechanism for Auto-save to recover files in case of a crash.
    Requesting you to please let us know if you have received the prompt to recover your file on relaunch.

    The default time settings of Auto save are present & modifiable at-
    Preferences-Documents Section→
    Save settings.
