Bug: Reduced Size PDF Leads to Corruption

We are a publisher which also publishes PDF version online. In trying to use the latest version (2019.008.20081) to save as reduced file size, the text becomes corrupted.

    We are also a publisher that edits documents scanned to PDF. Every file we worked on in March 2019 is corrupted. all files that we edited in some way during a period of about 2 to 3 weeks is useless. We had to go to other backups to get these files back and the edited versions are all gone - could not be opened.
