I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing. Can you elaborate on the issues you are facing with Acrobat DC?

  2. At opening of Pro DC, the Recent tab only searches the last location only

When using the Recent function to find a previously created PDF it would better that the program searches the entire computer for the file. I scan documents to Desktop first and, when done, move it to the appropriate file. With this new program I have to use other venue to search instead of the convenient Recent function. My older version was able to find the file regardless of where it is saved.

  3. Bug, Error running Action Wizard against multiple files.

    Hi,

I have an Action Wizard doing the following:
    1. OCR
    2. Optimize
    3. Save the file
When I run this same Action on two separate Machine against a folder with a lot of PDF files in it, after running for a while, say doing 100 - 300 files, if fails. The DC Student version gives out of memory dialog box error and stops and the Pro DC version gives a dialog box saying "There was an error opening the document...." I will attach the screen shut of the error I get.

  4. Provide options to Sort files in a OneDrive folder when opening

This is for Acrobat Pro DC.
We have the option to open 'Files' from OneDrive.
When I navigate to a folder in my OneDrive the files are displayed in what appears to be Name order. I would like a way to Sort those files into other orders. For Example, Date Descending/Ascending.

  7. Adobe Send & Track Outlook 2016 Mac Plug-in

I love the Adobe Send & Track plug-in for Outlook 2016 on the PC. I was just informed by someone from Adobe that this feature is not available on Macs. Could you please look into developing this feature for Macs at some point? Thank you.

  8. Acrobat DC is disabling the lights when vertex colors are used in the U3D input file, is there any way to overcome this?

I have created a U3D file with a mesh and vertex colors. I have created a PDF file using the Latex tool.
When opening the PDF file in Acrobat DC, I see that the lightning is disabled. This does not happen when the U3D file uses material colors instead of vertex colors.

  10. Acrobat Reader/Pro do not properly support word-by-word selection in macOS

    1. Open a PDF containing text in Acrobat Reader or Acrobat (18) in macOS (10.12.6) on the Mac (also applies to other versions).

    2. In order to select a string of words, double-click on the first word and, without releasing the mouse button, drag in the required direction to extend the selection.

Expected Result: Acrobat should select the word you double-clicked on, and THEN extend the selection word by word based on the direction of the dragging.

Observed Result: Acrobat selects the word you double-clicked on, and then fails to extend the selection.

The only way to select a string of words…

  11. Bug Report - Using Tools (esp Redact tool) causes wheel of death. HELP

Hi I'm having continual issues with using the Redact and Combine tools. Whenever I use these tools and attempt to save the document, I get the wheel of death and have to force close Adobe. When I go to where I saved the document, I get an error message saying "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."

  12. Can't save Extracted page

Working on a MAC (mac OS High Sierra v 10.13.2 updated 12.14.17) in Acrobat Pro DC v2018.009.20050
I think this problem started right after OS update.
Open a PDF document, extract a page, and now want to save that page.
A Save As PDF window opens but it is empty and you can't do anything. If you try it too many times it will lock up acrobat and you have to force quit. Does the same thing if you want to do a save as to an existing file and rename etc. Screenshot attached.

  13. Bug: Acrobat file created by InDesign export cannot be reduced in size; hangs Acrobat

A PDF which was created via an InDesign export, cannot be reduced in size in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. It hangs Acrobat during the Reduce in Size option.

I have isolated the cause of the problem to the final letter "x" that was added at the end of the text in the Indesign CC file.. I will try to see if I can attach that file. I have attached a ZIP-compressed Adobe InDesign CC 2018 package. I have also attached the PDF file.

This problem is keeping me from reducing in size a very large file.

  15. Convert Colors progress bar shows incorrect page number

When converting colors on a multi-page PDF file, after clicking OK, the progress bar that appears starts with showing "Converting Page 0" when it should be "Converting Page 1". Probably just using the pages array index (being zero based).

Thanks lee for reporting. We are also trying to reproduce the issue on our end, meanwhile it would be great if you can attach the indesign CC file.

Hi we are not able to reproduce the problem in house.
Can you elaborate little more here and also please provide the version of Acrobat you are using.

  18. Conversion of RGB/Spot to CMYK

PDF does not finish converting Spot / RGB colors to CMYK/
This is when using preflight fixes or convert color under Print Production Tools.
Acrobat freezes most of the time, or when I try to Save as.

  19. javascript window expired

I can't open PDFs, I tried everything from disabling javascript, turning protected mode off, to formatting my laptop. It always pops out with a javascript window expired. I've attached a photo below. If I disable javascript I am able to open the file but there is no content, if it is enabled then once I open the file it the pop up appears and when I click ok it closes the file.

    Hi Rai,

I suppose you are facing this with a particular set of PDF’s. Can you please provide one such PDF. Also please provide the version of Acrobat you are using.

    Thanks

  20. AABDC needs 'Smart Lookup' capabilities like what is in MS Word 2016 to be able to look up phrases, not just SINGLE words.

AABDC needs 'Smart Lookup' capabilities like what is in MS Word 2016 to be able to look up phrases, not just SINGLE words.

I want to be able to highlight something such as a persons name and then 'right click' on it and have a 'drop down' link to Google search the name or other selected phrases.
