1. Bug in search for subscripted text with a small font size

   Using Acrobat Reader (23.006.20360) on Windows 10 but the same issue was encountered in the pro version.

   The attached PDF has the word Foobar with the bar being in subscript and hence also smaller in fontsize. The second table is scaled to 70% which brings down the fontsize of "bar" to <4pt. A search for "foobar" without any quotes etc. will only bring up the one in the first table. It's broken for the one in the second table. Selecting and copy-pasting either instance of foobar works just fine.

7. Bug when updating with Cyrillic and other non-Latin usernames in Windows

   This problem also seems to affect languages other than Latin (Japanese, Chinese, Greek etc.).
   If a Windows user name (and its folder name too) contains Cyrillic characters, they are not recognized correctly when updating Acrobat Reader. In some cases, this may result in a folder named "????????" being created in the C:\Users folder.
   You can track this issue with the help of Process Monitor (procmon.exe)

   Steps:
   1) Create a Windows user with a Cyrillic name or use a Russian-language Windows distribution and activate the built-in Administrator account (which always has a name in the language that corresponds to the Windows language).
   2) Install Acrobat Reader
   3) Run Procmon.exe, select the filter for the RdrCEF.exe process.
   4) Run Adobe reader update task from Task Scheduler or run C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0\AdobeARM.exe.
   5) In procmon.exe, you will see attempts to create the C:\Users\??????\AppData\Local\Adobe\AcroCef folder that will succeed or fail depending on the permissions on C:\Users. (see screenshot)

8. Bug: quick print fails to print (non-default permissions)

   Failing in 32 & 64 bit versions 2023.001.20093 and 2023.001.10143 on Windows Server 2019 Remote Desktop Session Host (untested on other environments)

   Brief: Users with print rights assigned via a group, not direct permissions (see caveat below), quick print will open Reader but does not send a job to the printer (only Acrobat Reader, file types to other apps quick print fine)

   Extensive details (I have procmon captures too)

   Normal printing works fine. If they open a file with any application and file > print or CTRL+P etc. it prints successfully. Quick print opens Acrobat Reader, but in non-working scenarios the file doesn't ever show up visible but the recent says it was opened just now (working scenarios you see it open for a short period)

   Environment:
   - Windows Server 2019 Remote Desktop Session Host server with printers installed locally
   - Everyone group removed from printer and replaced by group user is a member of with print rights
   Note: this is a requirement, every printer cannot be visible/usable by all users.
   - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (latest patches) is default for PDFs
   - Outlook Quick Print, right click > Print, or a custom app trying to quick print PDFs opens Acrobat Reader but does not print

   Working Scenarios:
   - Printer has the LOCAL groups Interactive, Users, or everyone added with read permissions and print (read alone is not enough)
   - Printer has the direct Active directory user added with read permissions and print (read alone is not enough)

   Failed Troubleshooting Tests
   So far I have found no other working scenarios. I have tried the below, and probably much more, with no success.
   - User with nested membership to Active Directory Domain Local security group with read/print
   - User with direct membership to Active Directory Domain Local security group with read/print
   - User with nested membership to Active Directory Global security group with read/print
   - User with direct membership to Active Directory Global security group with read/print
   - Assuming maybe a background item needed permissions, I tested with the following built-in local security principals with permissions ranging from read/print to all permissions (local): Authenticated users, LOCAL SERVICE, NETWORK, NETWORK SERVICE, SERVICE, SYSTEM
   - Active Directory computer account with read/print, manage docs, and manage printer

   Important notes:
   - Acrobat Reader must be closed between tests or after a successful test, if you remove the rights that made it successful, it will continue to work. However, after closing and re-opening it will fail again.
   - Best I can tell, restarting the print spooler doesn't matter. There was a period where I was restarting it regularly.

   • Windows Server 2012 R2 Remote desktop session host, locally installed printers with the same version of Acrobat Reader DC works with non-default permissions. Same with Windows 10 network printing to a server 2016 print server (non-default permissions).

   Extra info + description of attachments:
   The larger image is a side by side of procmon during a successful test, user is directly there with print permissions, (on the right) and a failed attempt, user has print access via a group (on th left). The Spooler-Between.png is the exact same in both scenarios and occurs JUST before the other image deviates from one another. Best I can tell it's not helpful.

   The default printer has been set via the legacy way, modern way, and set to let Windows manage (acrobat closed, user logged off and back on) and the issue persists.

    User can change the default font and size but not color! when i review Adobe documents, i have to add comments in red, but my default is to black. and i have to change it every time i open a new document. 20. BUG: Repeatable memory leak with complex file names

    BUG REPORT:
    I have been able to identify the suspect for the computer issues. The computer and its firmware, operating system, applications etc. are up to date so those can be ruled out as a source for the trouble.
    Windows 10, Adobe Reader continuous release version 2023.006.20230

    Symptoms: Adobe reader freezes, other applications freezes as well, and crash (for example MS Teams, Excel, Outlook). This happens several times a day when opening some specific files with Adobe reader.

    And the complex file name causes this. Exact copy of the same file but with short and simple name does not cause issues.

    I have named the standards downloaded from the national standards online library with descriptive name. I have copied the title from the content and pasted that as a file name:
    problematic name:
    SFS-EN 61508-3 Sähköisten elektronisten ohjelmoitavien elektronisten turvallisuuteen liittyvien järjestelmien toiminnallinen turvallisuus. Osa 3 Ohjelmistovaatimukset.pdf

    And it works with simple name: SFS-EN 61508-3.pdf

    So the problematic file name has several characteristics, that are not taken into account in Adobe's quality control (software testing):
    - long file name
    - file name contains Scandinavian letters

    Feel free to repeat the problem, and run appropriate dynamic analysis tools and debuggers to spot the memory leak in the product code. And please fix it, and release a patch for the bug fix. And for the sake of quality, perform root cause analysis and fix the errors in the design phases and documents, there must be lots of similar bugs clustered.
