  1. Using Reader DC 2021.001.20145 on Windows 10 (20H2) in Desktop mode (tablet mode off).

When accessing system menu (restore, move, size, minimize, maximize, close) by clicking icon in upper left of window, the menu items work fine. But when accessing the same menu from the taskbar (hover, wait for popup, right-click on pop-up), the functions are ignored (minimize, move, size), act differently (close), or act strangely (maximize).

  2. Hello,

I have usually opened few pdf files on my 3rd monitor (datasheets, manuals, etc - documentation for somethig that I work on right now), I also send inquires and initialize orders for things I need to... When I open pdf with invoices/inquires those files tends to move the Adobe Reader window to my center (primary) monitor and resize it (and change zoom) - it drives me mad.
I did a bit research and this must happens because those files have defined so called "InitialView", so here is my petition:

Add option that prevent window Adobe Reader DC from moving and…

  3. Please add to the app settings the option to add and remove quick actions from the context menu in File Explorer in Windows 10 for PDFs. Since doing it manually through the Registry Editor is very inconvenient.

  4. large file with 2D graphics with areas of transparency is displayed with long delays compared to competing for software. I have Intel UHD 630 graphics and NVidia MX150 which is great for games with full HD resolution. There are also no problems with UHD. On the other hand, displaying in Adobe a 2D file when scrolling, zooming in or out has delays of up to a second!
No options in the graphics acceleration panel. Was not found.
This software uses only one GPU not even in full. Furthermore, 3D graphics work excellent but not 2D.

  5. Press Ctrl+F
Try to find any thing by typing in Find input box
then click/Select any letter in Find Input box and try to type
Previous data is getting cleared (very irritating as we have to type again whole thing)

  6. Allow users to keep a toolbar displayed. I have to constantly go to View<Tools<Comment<Open to display the Comments toolbar.

I should have the option of keeping that toolbar open and have it persist even to another session using the software, until I instruct otherwise.

  7. I created a form using Adobe Acrobat 9. I added a java script in the background to alert the user of any fields that were not filled out, including multiple signature lines. I tested the form frequently, using Acrobat 9, pro and reader DC, and it worked perfectly. Now I am getting reports from the users(using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC), that they are getting an error message stating that the signature lines need to be populated when the lines have the signatures inserted already.

All users using the latest version of Adobe Reader DC, this issue occurred after the latest…

  8. If I make changes to several open PDF documents, it would be better to have an option to Save All changes other than get a prompt for every PDF document.

  9. Hello there,
Can you add a prompt for updates?
"Adobe Acrobat requires an update that will require a restart before using the application. Update and restart or install later?"

You see, when Acrobat updates automatically and I'm still running the app, I can still open things, but if Acrobat updates and I'm not currently running the app, then I can't open the app until I restart.
In terms of workflow this means that to access a PDF needed immediately for work I need to save and close everything, restart, then reopen everything. This took about 7 minutes without including reopening…

  10. For mouse based users. Remove the excess space, and reduce the size of toolbars and buttons, to maximise screen space available for the document.

  11. I would like to be able to save a PDF in only one click.
Currently, I have to click 3 times. I click on save.
    1. The 'Save as' windows open (this window is a fraud btw).
    2. Then I have to click on the folder that I want.
    3. Then I have to confirm the file name in the right folder.
Other softwares (such as Foxit) allow to simply save in one click my PDF in its original folder. As simple as that.
    Thanks

  12. Would be a magnificent addition if manual duplex printing could be selected for Adobe reader on Windows 10. Having read quite a few forums on the subject it would appear I'm not the only person who desires this.

  13. Currently the preferences window is very hard to use and frankly, broken:

You can't scroll with a touchpad.

You can't scroll with a touchscreen.

You can't scroll with a mousewheel.

Scrolling over a combo box changes the setting >:(

Content doesn't scroll when you drag the scrollbar!

The preferences window cannot resize small enough for smaller screens.

    Overall: infurating.

  17. In February version of Acrobat Reader, a blue button that invite us to try acrobat pro is visible. But in a Corp environnement this is not suitable.

The button is visible even if acrobat Pro is installed on computer.

Please give us a setting to hide this button.

  18. In your recent update these features no longer seem to properly work:

PDF Thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer : this use to show the first page in a PDF as a JPG image. It no longer does.

Text in dialog boxes becomes small when document is open. Can no longer change the size of the fonts in these dialog boxes. They change to very small font sizes when a document is opened, difficult to read

  19. When viewing a file with Adobe Reader in the File Explorer preview pane, the file gets cut off if the DPI scaling level changes or if the File Explorer window is dragged between monitors with different DPI scaling levels. This is very annoying as it can make documents chopped off and/or hard to read. It seems to be an issue with Adobe Reader previewer not correctly/responding to scaling changes. As you can see in the image, the previewer is so cut off that you can't even see the controls or the scroll bar.

  20. I guess this falls under UI? I'm ADHD and it would be SUPER helpful to have a feature where I can dim the screen except for an area I'm currently reading. I read a lot of professional articles and when I go to write a note I completely lose my place. It could be just a static section and as I scroll the section stays the same so I'm effectively moving my page through it. I can cope if I print out the pages, but articles are frequently 12+ pages each and I'd rather save the paper and be able…
