Bug in adobe reader 2025 mac with latex and matplotlib
From the update of 2025 in adobe reader on mac, pdf figures generated with matplotlib do not display text labels. Moreover, I have seen that the symbols of the enviroment itemize of latex do not appear in the compiled pdf.
In other pdf visors as chrome, this error does not happen.
All times I have reinstalled the new version of 2025, the error held. To solve this, I have installed the version of 2024 choosing an old mac osx system, and then works. Therefore, the error is in the current version of adobe reader.

Less annoying, please
I get tired of Adobe Acrobat Reader pushing me to buy a subscription to something. I also don't like that it leaves a big window open even after I close all the documents I'm looking at. Printing doesn't work like normal Mac apps. And on my work laptop, there seems to be a security update every few days. What is so fragile with it that it needs to be updated that often? Bug report: cannot save PDF in Windows 11
When a PDF file is opened from a mapped share e.g. N:\test.pdf which is mapped to a Windows 2022 DFS share e.g. \contoso.com\dfs\myshare\test.pdf. In Windows 11 when saving this file adobe reader prompts the message: "This document could not be saved. Cannot save to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder". And the app suggests a temp folder on the computer with at temp file name.
