  2. I am constantly fighting to see portions of the doccument i am working with in Acrobat reader. Either the tool bar (That I don't use) is in the way and appparently can not be hidden according to every search I have done or, the search pop up reminding me to try AI Assistant is covering a good chunk of the landscape when I need to keep the search field open. Why can we not hide the floating toolbar and why after acknowledging the AI popup does it have to keep popping up? It's annoying and feels intentionally counter productive.

  3. Acrobat Reader DC MUI v24.002.20687 that is already configured to always open documents in "Protected View" was unable to confirm me that a Digital signature was already existing in a digitally signed document (I even checked Document properties with [Ctrl]+[D]) that when instead opened with Microsoft Edge Enterprise v109.0.1518.140 (Official build)(64-bit) immediately informed me that "This document is digitally signed. Some signatures couldn't be verified. View signatures" and so it immediately allowed me to see what was digital signature.
Now I understand that 'Protected View' is already a security feature and that also has some limitations (I even found that…

  4. Hi,

I would like to put the certificates tools permanently to the RHP, but it simply don't work to me. I have read the documentation about the "Tools customization" but that did not help.

My Adobe Reader version is 2024.002.20687 x64 hungarian.
    Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11 23H2 the same behavior :(

I don't have the "remove shortcut" option shown in the docs (neither have an add shortcut option).

I tried the registry way to add the tool at the toolbar, but that did not help and after I close the Adobe Reader, my registry entry simply disappears from…

  5. When using the search function in Adobe Acrobat, the (extremely annoying) AI "help" prompt blocks text on the document. This should be removed or made smaller. Or, the option to remove generative AI from preferences should be made available for all users.

  6. I observe a strange text extraction behavior in Acrobat Reader for the specific documents. The documents are tagged so generally all paragraph text lines are extracted as a single line. But in some cases the paragpraph text is extracted with line feed. Some experiments shows that it may be related to a presence of a Form XObject inside an artifact content.

  7. I disabled new acrobat reader for one primary reason. I couldn't customize the quick tools toolbar, so it reduced my productivity. The new interface would be better if customization was brought back.

  9. As of Adobe Reader 24.x, the setting "bAcroSuppressUpsell" no longer suppresses the upsell button. It now suppresses all items in the tools pane.

  10. You need a command/keystroke to move to the same page position but 1.0 pages up/down. So if I'm zoomed in to a region on page 33, let me see the same region of page 34. Not one screen down, not to the top of the next page, not anything else. Don't move me; just change the page. (I believe this is the same in Acrobat and Acrobat Reader.)

  11. In the digital realm, cookie-cutter solutions simply won't suffice. To truly stand out and make an impact online, businesses need to embrace the power of customization offered by a specialized custom web development company.

One of the primary advantages of custom web development is the ability to tailor every aspect of your website to your unique needs and preferences. From the layout and design to the functionality and features, every element can be customized to align with your brand identity and goals. This level of personalization not only enhances the user experience but also helps you differentiate yourself from competitors.

  12. Poster print doesn't work in latest version of Adobe Reader - tries on both windows and mac

On mac - Once you have deselected print as image - you can try and print as poster - BUT it only prints to 1 page - what ever you select in the options - you simply cannot print over multiple pages.

On Windows - It will only allow you to print the 1st page of the poster print - you can not select or print any of the other pages.

    Can this please be fixed
I am using latest version of Adobe…

  13. Is your QuickBooks version supported with Windows 10? In case you have updated or planning to upgrade to windows 10, then the major question that arises is that whether your QuickBooks version is compatible with Windows 10 or not. Windows 10 does not support every version of QuickBooks.

  14. When opening PDFs from various sources, I often receive a JS pop up stating "This pdf form requires a newer version of Adobe Acrobat...", in spite of having the latest version of Reader (23.008.20555 as of this post) installed. There are often multiple (as on 3-7+) popup dialogs that repeat this message whether OK or Cancel is pushed (the only difference being OK opens a browser window to redownload what I already have).

The PDFs in question are often generated by 3rd parties, E.G. Tax preparation software online. One such recent example used iText 2.0.7, which uses PDF version 1.5…

  15. Whenever I decide to go full-screen with my Mac (the green button in the top left corner, not the Adobe reading mode), it is almost impossible to choose from the different tabs that I have open, and it is even harder to close them. Why?

The new Adobe Reader layout has the tab bar higher and closer to the Mac menu bar. While you enable full-screen, the Mac menu bar is hidden and you only access it while moving the cursor to the top of the screen. Now, as Adobe's tab bar is on top, whenever you try to select…

  16. When I mouse wheel away from me I expect the view to zoom out. When I scroll the mouse wheel towards me I expect to zoom in. Please add the option to reverse the mouse wheel zoom as it is so annoying that this is the only software that has the default action backwards and no option to change it.

  18. This bug has been reported before. It was claimed that it was fixed in version 22.2.20191 (see this discussion: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/adobe-stays-open-after-quick-print/td-p/13068306), but we can still reproduce it in current version 23.8.20533.

The problem is that when a print command is issued to Acrobat, the application opens, prints, but does not close again when printing is finished.

We have a customer needing to print batches containing hundreds of documents. Because Acrobat misbehaves, a batch will get stuck whenever a PDF is encountered. The only work-around we found in Acrobat is to manually close the application after each print job. Of course…

  19. Whoever dreamed up this mess should be fired immediately. It's confusing and I can't find anything. Give us the option to go back to the tried and true previous interface.
Can't customize the top toolbar among so many other annoyances. Will be switching to another of the many free PDF alternatives.

  20. Dear Adobe Support,

This is to request a feature that would greatly enhance the usability and efficiency of your PDF readers. I am referring to the back and forward buttons that would allow users to navigate through the links and bookmarks within a PDF document.

As a researcher, I often read scientific papers that have thousands of links to equations, figures, tables, references, and other sections. These links are very useful for understanding the content and following the logic of the paper. However, without the back and forward buttons, it is very frustrating and time-consuming to navigate through these links.…
