  1. The new layout is an incredibly annoying 'experience', and it's almost as if Adobe knew it was, because they added the high-level option in the main menu to disable the new 'experience'. It is frustrating that you have to click this every time you reopen reader though, and there is the worry that at some point they will take away the option to disable it! Please go back to the tried and tested layout or give us the option to permanently configure it that way - if something isn't broken, don't try and fix it! Thanks.

  2. CREATE button is annoying. It takes up real estate for your tabs and when the window is minimized it is too easy to click it when trying to move the window or double-clicking the title bar to maximize. I suggest the option of being able to remove it through the preferences menu or please move it out of the window title bar to a different location.

  3. Please remove the "+ Create" button from the taskbar of Adobe Reader. It is too easy to incorrectly click on this button and annoyingly then takes time for the program to generate a blank page.

  4. I tried to enter a Greek mu into the search bar in Acrobat Reader for Windows.
The letter is entered by pressing ctrl+m on a German keyboard layout. Acrobat freezes immediately when doing so.

  5. There should be an option to open files/adobe with Tools and Bookmarks NOT enabled. It is very annoying and inefficient to close those 2 windows every time i open Adobe to read a PDF. See pic of how files open by default, not very useful to see the document contents with a smaller window/screen without closing the undesired left/right bars.

  6. You need a command/keystroke to move to the same page position but 1.0 pages up/down. So if I'm zoomed in to a region on page 33, let me see the same region of page 34. Not one screen down, not to the top of the next page, not anything else. Don't move me; just change the page. (I believe this is the same in Acrobat and Acrobat Reader.)

  7. When I mouse wheel away from me I expect the view to zoom out. When I scroll the mouse wheel towards me I expect to zoom in. Please add the option to reverse the mouse wheel zoom as it is so annoying that this is the only software that has the default action backwards and no option to change it.

  8. Please make the floating toolbar dock-able. It is constantly covering things in my document that I would like to see, no matter where I try to position it. It is really annoying. There is a lot of space in the top menu bar area where all the icons from this toolbar can fit it, where they will be out of the way and easily accessible.

  9. In the 'New Acrobat' UI, I got a new floating bar on the left top. However, sometimes it hovers over the content and is annoying. I want to have a option/button to collapse it to a small size, and on mouse hover/click it will be expanded again.

  10. Expand the left flyout to the last open position with a single click. Remove the step that expands the list of icons without opening a panel (such as Pages or Bookmarks).

Currently, the left flyout can be collapsed with a single click but requires two clicks to reopen the Bookmarks panel (one to expand the list of panels and the second to open the Bookmarks). Given that the list of icons is always available when a panel is open and that users typically return to the same panel once a panel is open, requiring the second click is extremely inefficient…

  11. I am constantly fighting to see portions of the doccument i am working with in Acrobat reader. Either the tool bar (That I don't use) is in the way and appparently can not be hidden according to every search I have done or, the search pop up reminding me to try AI Assistant is covering a good chunk of the landscape when I need to keep the search field open. Why can we not hide the floating toolbar and why after acknowledging the AI popup does it have to keep popping up? It's annoying and feels intentionally counter productive.

  12. Poster print doesn't work in latest version of Adobe Reader - tries on both windows and mac

On mac - Once you have deselected print as image - you can try and print as poster - BUT it only prints to 1 page - what ever you select in the options - you simply cannot print over multiple pages.

On Windows - It will only allow you to print the 1st page of the poster print - you can not select or print any of the other pages.

    Can this please be fixed
I am using latest version of Adobe…

  13. version 2024.002.20895.
    Recent windows 10 update.

Single key accelerators no longer active in launch.

MUST access a menu to activate.

    eg:
    Reader not running.
Open a PDF, causing Reader to launch.
    Click on the displayed document.
Type Z for zoom - no change; X for select - no change.
Type Alt-E to open the Edit menu, followed by ESC to close it.
The single keys now function once again.

THIS IS A REPEAT PERFORMANCE OF AN OLD ANNOYING BUG.
Look up: Regression testing. Read it. Act on it.

  14. When using the search function in Adobe Acrobat, the (extremely annoying) AI "help" prompt blocks text on the document. This should be removed or made smaller. Or, the option to remove generative AI from preferences should be made available for all users.

  15. Hello, today after I restarted my MacBook my Acrobat Reader suddenly switched to German (which is set as second preferred language after Romanian). Is there a bug with the Romanian version or why has the interface changed? I'm using version 2024.002.20759. Can someone have a look into this?

    Thank you!

  16. As of Adobe Reader 24.x, the setting "bAcroSuppressUpsell" no longer suppresses the upsell button. It now suppresses all items in the tools pane.

  17. In the digital realm, cookie-cutter solutions simply won't suffice. To truly stand out and make an impact online, businesses need to embrace the power of customization offered by a specialized custom web development company.

One of the primary advantages of custom web development is the ability to tailor every aspect of your website to your unique needs and preferences. From the layout and design to the functionality and features, every element can be customized to align with your brand identity and goals. This level of personalization not only enhances the user experience but also helps you differentiate yourself from competitors.

  19. New layout of Adobe Reader is utterly counterproductive, and makes everyday use of Adobe Reader much slower and confusing.
I, as well as many other users I know, am using Bookmarks and Pages in at least 95% of times when I use Reader. Therefore, they should be placed on the left, where they are expected to be (it is simply a standard for similar "master-detail" situations).
Also, primary tools, like paging, zoom-in and -out, are placed in a bottom-right corner, just like they were hiding?! But these are the basic tools, and they must be placed centrally, either on top…

  20. Whenever I decide to go full-screen with my Mac (the green button in the top left corner, not the Adobe reading mode), it is almost impossible to choose from the different tabs that I have open, and it is even harder to close them. Why?

The new Adobe Reader layout has the tab bar higher and closer to the Mac menu bar. While you enable full-screen, the Mac menu bar is hidden and you only access it while moving the cursor to the top of the screen. Now, as Adobe's tab bar is on top, whenever you try to select…
