2. BUG "Bad parameter" error when copying text

   Version 2023.001.20064 64-bit Windows 10.

   Copying text from a document that's opened in protected mode causes an error box to appear with "Bad parameter". The OK button on the box needs to be clicked to make the box go away. The copied text still appears on the Windows clipboard as expected.

   Adobe PDF thumbnails in windows explorer preview the first page of a PDF. Can this be adapted so a particular page of the document is the thumbnail preview rather than page 1. Could this be done whilst creating the PDF? forexample in indesign when exporting the file.

4. Rename "Enable Scrolling" button to better describe its function

   The function of the "Enable Scrolling" button is exactly parallel to the function of the "Two Page Scrolling" menu option, so why not call it "Single Page Scrolling"?

   I always assumed that "Enable Scrolling" changes whichever view you are in (single or two-page) to scrolling in that same view (whereas "Two Page Scrolling" changes the view and toggles scrolling at the same time.) But "Enable Scrolling" does change the view to single-page as it toggles scrolling on. So I don't have to click "Single Page View" and then click "Enable Scrolling" when the "Enable Scrolling" button does both. Labeling it "Single Page Scrolling" would eliminate that confusion. (Also, it would personally be more satisfying to have parallel buttons labeled with parallel names.)

   しおりで現在のページを確認したい時に、「現在のしおりを展開」でも良いのですが、しおりの色がはっきり変わるとさらに良いです。
   現状、しおりの色が薄いグレー→ちょっとだけ濃いグレーに変わって、現在のページ位置を示してくれているようですが、非常にわかりにくいです。
   テレワークが増えて大量のPDFを扱う機会が増えたため、分かりやすい色に変わってくれると、作業効率が大幅にupすると思います！

7. (Bug) Extremely low refresh rate when resizing window

   To reproduce: Open any large document (e.g. 10 page document). Try to resize the window.

   Version: 22.3.20282.0 (and every other version I've ever tried)

   OS: Windows 10

   Expected result: Window resizes smoothly

   Observed result: Window size updates about once per second (giving a slow stutter effect) and lags behind the mouse.

8. Bug: Window height changes after Acrobat DC closed with the menu bar hidden.

   Steps to reproduce:

   1. Open any PDF document in the Acrobat Reader DC on Windows (my version 2021.001.20138)

   2. Change the following (I do it for every single document, that should be the default):
      View -> Page Display -> Single Page View
      View -> Zoom -> Zoom to Page Level
      View -> Read Mode
      View -> Show/Hide -> Menu Bar

   3. Resize the window so that the page takes up precisely 100% of the window area, there are no blank margins around the page.

   4. Close the window

   5. Open the same document again

   Expected behaviour:
   Window size should be remembered. When you apply all the actions from step 2, the page will fill up precisely 100% of the window space.

   Actual behaviour:
   Window height will be slightly larger. When you apply all the actions from step 2, some narrow blank area appears below and above the page. Each time you do that, window height grows bigger and bigger. After opening the document several times (each time hiding the menu bar) the window becomes taller than the screen!

   Steps to reproduce:

9. Microsoft Purview Information Protection - clear remembered account information

   After the update from version 22.002.20191 to version 22.003.20258, we've detected an issue with the new Microsoft Purview Information Protection plug-in.

   It can happen, that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC crashes, if a MIP protected PDF file shall be opened. In this case the opening process hangs and Reader DC doesn't react any longer and you have to terminate the app.

   This happens, because the cached account information for MIP are obviously unusable (e.g. corrupt or invalid). The only solution currently is, to clear the cache via the "Clear remembered account information" button.

   But many standard users aren't aware of this possibility/solution and contact the hotline completely unnecessarily!

   Now my proposal:
   As soon as these cached account information are detected as unusable, for whatever reason, the user must be informed proactively via e.g. popup message to clear the account cache and how this can be realized. For that, a kind of mechanism must be implemented, which becomes active, as soon as the opening process for a MIP protected PDF can't be processed.

13. Bug Report - Reader isn't rendering text correctly in Chrome, Edge, or Outlook

16. Redraw bug when scrolling in Fill & Sign Mode

17. double find function

    I have an idea for the find (ctrl + F) function. I propose there be a double find option to search for multiple phrases from different paragraphs. This feature would be useful for scientists and scholars who need to search a pdf for one phrase as it relates to another. For example, if I need to search for "enzyme replacement therapy" but I want to find where it relates to "Endocytosis" as opposed to "Passive diffusion" I can find it easily. I am sure there are countless other use-cases.

18. When using JAWS, opening an untagged PDF attachment from Thunderbird , the "reading untagged document" dialog is not always focused

    Preconditions:
    Configure Thunderbird to use Acrobat Reader DC rather than its internal PDF viewer:
    In Tools > Preferences > Files and Attachments, for Portable Document Format (PDF) choose Use Adobe Acrobat DC.
    inbox contains a message with a file attachment of an untagged PDF document.
    JAWS running.
    Steps to reproduce:
    Open the message.
    Open the attached file (Message > Attachments > Open).
    Actual: Acrobat Reader appears, JAWS is focused on the document, the JAWS virtual cursor is active and there is no text to read with the virtual cursor. The Reading Untagged Document dialog is not spoken by JAWS.
    Expected: the Reading Untagged Document dialog is spoken with focus on the Reading Order combo box.

    Note: saving the file and opening it from File Explorer seems to work properly.

    Acrobat Reader opens and JAWS is focused on it with the VC active. Inspection with Script Utility Mode (JAWSKey+Windows+NumpadMinus)shows that the dialog appears at the top level (although it is not).
    From the initial focus ascend the tree with Shift+F2 to the top level.
    Set to speak window class (F3) and tab left encountering:

19. Ensure interactive features of a PDF document works when being viewed through a browser

    This issue happens with keyboard-only and screen reader users.

    When exporting, saving or publishing a document as a PDF, the interactive features within that document (such as hyperlinks) don't work when the PDF is viewed in a browser (any browser). The only way an interactive PDF works as intended is when it is opened with Acrobat Reader.

    There must be an issue between the interactivity within a PDF and how browsers render that PDF document for accessibility. Can this be fixed so it doesn't matter whether a user has Acrobat or uses a browser to view a PDF and interact with it?

20. Make the prompt to save the PDF optional

    Have an option or a call switch that can be made so that when a file loads it can simply close the file and not save it if the ADOBE is closed?

    We print labels and the user does not want to save the labels - merely print them so they would like to be able to see the labels and print then and then close the Adobe and not have to cancel the save.
