My name is Manu Tarí and I am getting in touch with you because we have a serious problem with Acrobat Reader
We are a designer studio from Alicante, Spain and we have created interactive catalogs in InDesign with videos, sound clips and buttons that have to play movies and in InDesign they work correctly but when exporting the catalog as interactive PDF and opening it in Acrobat Reader they do not work . A month ago the catalogs worked correctly in Acrobat Reader, you could click on a button and it played the video or sound, now not, and it is very serious.
I await your news and receive a warm greeting
PD is very urgent

Lose the white borders, and allow customizing background
Acorbat Reader DC displays pages with unsightly white borders, including down the middle of any matter spanning page spreads, such as photographs.
Also, I would like to be able to choose a custom background color, and hide all the toolbars, buttons, tabs and whatnot.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC blocking the Ooutlook 365
Hi,
after provided more tests were found that (in my case) reason and solution (I saw that behaviour from August 2020 to till now)
Description of workaround and provided steps
- Openned pdf document in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (still updated version, recently 2020.013.20074),
- In Adobe File/Share file/Outlook message (Office 365 still update, recently version 16.0.13530.20132, 64bit),
- Then is automatically opened Outlook new message,
- message is fulfilled with the data and addresses, then click on send,
- Outlook and Adobe are still opened,- standard work in both and next application (time to time (hapened not always, olny sporadicaly), don´t know the trigger of issue, but Outlook is seems like freezen (no any reaction to command by mouse or keyboard) - then when you close (standard close of application, not kill the process) Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you can continue with work in Outlook, no further action are required).
Maybe you can find the code bug and reapair it (I will be happy if you can share your feedback).
Thank you.Hi,

Bad design: Stop forcing mouse pointer in Acrobat Reader
Acrobat Reader DC changes the mouse pointer into its own scheme. Not talking about the specific tools, just the standard mouse when hovering over the Acrobat window.
I don't have the best vision, so I have my Windows mouse pointer set to be very visible, or I will lose track of it on the screen. But when using Acrobat, I lose track of the pointer, because Acrobat INSISTS that I don't get to use my custom pointer, but rather use the virtually invisible Acrobat default.
Why would Acrobat need to change the pointer? I get it for specific tools, like drag or magnify or whatever, but just for regular use? NO reason, other than to annoy users as much as possibleAcrobat Reader DC changes the mouse pointer into its own scheme. Manual duplex printing
Hello,
After going through all options, I haven't found one feature I really desire. I would love to print brooklet, however, there is no option for manual duplex printing.
Ex. after choosing brooklet, there is no option to choose it. The only way is the manual printing, ex/ 1 and 68, manual pages flip in the printer, 2-67... new page :)Would it be ever possible to print brooklet both-sided for printers not supporting automatic duplex?
Looking to hear back from you guys and I believe you would add this feature in future realeases :)

Allow to choose own highlight colors from color wheel
I color code my highlights and would really appreciate having an option to choose any color from a color wheel or hex code rather than having to choose from the 12 predetermined colors in the app. The iPad app is even more limited with only 7 colors to choose from.

Save multiple tabs at once
I have multiple pdf tabs that I have open and edit. It would be more efficient to be able to save them all at once instead of going through each tab and saving them individually.

By default, Snapshot should produce higher-resolution images
The default resolution is too low in Edit, Preferences, General, Use fixed resolution for Snapshot tool images. The resolution should be fixed at a higher value, at least 300 ppi.

FIX Unable to print mixed letter and legal size using a Mac
This appears to be an ongoing issue for the past several years and I am still experiencing what so many others have found. There is a problem printing a LARGE (100+) PDF with mixed legal and letter sized pages using Adobe Reader on a Mac with a Brother laser printer.
I think that Adobe support has not been able to recreate the issue because their test file has only two pages. If they create a 100+ page test file with mixed letter and legal and they should be able to replicate the issue.
Here is what I have:
I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) running Catalina, Brother HL-L6200DWT printer and using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2020.009.20063. I have all of the settings set correctly per the Adobe: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-mixed-page-sizes-acrobat.html
I contacted Brother support as well and followed the details found at : https://help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/102267
This included downloading and using the latest drivers from Brother. As instructed I tried both their CUPS driver and the BR-Script driver.
I have printed using both a direct USB cable and over WiFi.When I print a large (100+) PDF file with mixed legal and letter it initially works for the first 10 or 20 pages but eventually the pages get cut off with legal pages being printed half way down the page and/or cut off. It is as though the data being sent to the printer eventually becomes "corrupted" so that it is unable to print correctly.
Brother support provided a workaround that does work: Rotate the view of all of the pages by 180°, so it looks upside down on the screen.
Then print the document as usual, and all the pages should print completely.Attached is a test.pdf file of multiple mixed size pages that I used to replicate the issue.
Also attached is a result.pdf which is a scanned result from the printing showing the issue with pages being cut-off / misprinted. Note that the A4 pages are scanned as legal size, but you can still size how they actually printed on the actual paper. This appears to be an ongoing issue for the past several years and I am still experiencing what so many others have found. On MacOS you handle multiple monitors very badly
I have the PDF view on my other monitor, not the laptops. When a dialog box comes up (search: no more instances) it ALWAYS goes to the laptop screen and is hidden. And of course it is model, so I need to find the stupid thing and press OK (another design friggen issue!)
To do this, I have to go down to my task bar, on the PDF viewer icon, right click to show all windows, and then finally the model dialog box pops up, on the laptop screen, not where the other window is.
PLEASE FIX!

Fix "Install font pack" issue for 2020.012.20048
Adobe Reader DC updated to Continuous Release 2020.012.20048 (File version 20.012.20048.6926). I open a SCANNED PDF and immediately get error reading:
A font package is required to correctly display this page. Click "OK" to direct your browser to download the add-on from adobe.com. After installation, you will need to close and re-open the document to correctly view contents dependent on these newly installed fonts.I click OK and eventually get directed to: https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=6839&fileID=6837
This page has a "Download Now" button but when clicked does nothing - no download is initiated and I get no warning of a popup being blocked.
Please fix! Reader DC will not even properly print a scanned PDF. Pages just print blank.

"round-trip" backlinks for endnotes
At the moment, endnotes in pdfs are hyperlinked to the endnote page, but there is no "round-trip" backlink from the endnote entry number back to the point of origin in text - as there is in epub documents.
This would be a very useful feature!1 vote -
Allow open PDFs directly in/from SharePoint
Need to allow users to open PDFs directly in/from SharePoint, and digitally sign/save directly back to SharePoint. This would mimic other office document behavior. Without this feature, we will be forced to abandon Adobe PDFs for digital signature requirements. Requiring users to download, sign, and upload (vice just sign) does not cut it.
