Book layout viewPlease provide a viewing option that allows the user to see proper reader spreads. (Spreads that don't shift the cover to the left side, so proofers can see actual reader spreads, with odd pages on the right and even pages on the left). 1 vote

prompt before print - documents containing disclaimer sectionQuite often we print all the pages of the documents
But most of the documents (Bank statements/ rental agreements / Utility Bills) carry a section for disclosure / disclaimer which are not needed when making copies.
if you can prompt the user to proceed with the print or skip the disclosure section may save paper, save trees, save environment.1 vote

Bug in window resize if view has been rotatedAcrobat reader DC. Windows 7 x64 desktop.
Load a PDF (in my case some A1 building plans) into reader.
 Rotate view 90 degrees.
Now re-size the reader application window by grabbing left or right edge.
You will see the bug - can't really miss it. Document suddenly reverts 90 degress and stretches then rotates back when you let go.
 Not fatal, just unsightly.1 vote

******** couldn't save could have lost a day's work stupid POSsomeone already said it Ill say it again **, I just wanted to SAVE. To use the SAVE function which has presumably existed and been replicated successfully on every other word processing program and PDF editor. Nice little gadgets and ads ** *** too bad I CANT SAVE ANYTHING. I am using an up-to-date Windows 10 computer.
When trying to save, a totally blank, white 'save as' prompt appears that does nothing, leaving no choice as far as I could find but to exit without saving. Thank ******2 votes

Move Adobe Reader to App store modelIn todays world, many browsers now have built-in PDF viewers to help deal with end of browser plugins and the rise of HTML 5 and mobile apps. Can you please consider eliminating browser plugin for Adobe Reader DC and make Adobe Reader a Mac and Windows App store app as quickly as possible to modernize pdf experience and introduce adobe Scan app which uploads scanned document from iPhone directly to mac or windows PC as well. As many websites are going HTML 5 and browser plugin support is being reduced, we need to see adobe acrobat reader app converted from browser plugin which is obsolete to a app store model on desktops and laptops. I also want to see adobe Acrobat subscription services made available into Windows and Mac App store instead of traditional app installation methods. I also would like to see Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Air be completely discontinued immediately as flash player and Adobe Air is completely obsolete. Single Purchase Option for Occasional UsersI would like to turn a certain PDF into a .jpg and I do not anticipate a need to do this again in the near future. Seems a little out of touch to expect anyone to pay $15.00 for a month and “potentially” hundreds of dollars to use a service only once or twice in a year.
On your most economical plan, Adobe receives about half of a dollar per day and allows an unlimited number of document conversions , as well as other services.Adobe should offer an alternative payment schedule of $1.00 per document,
up to, $3.00 for a 24 hour day of unlimited use. This would be much more inviting to the casual customer and there is a high likelihood of more than 1,000 people per day wanting to use a pay-per-use service rather than long term commitments. Remove the extra step of savingSince using Adobe Reader DC for PC, the last few updates have only increased the number of clicks required to do basic tasks. When saving a document, with either the CTRL + S key press or selecting Save from the file tree, there doesn't seem to be any necessity to have the window attached pop up. It's a similar feature to Office programs now, and really only makes the process take longer. Clicking on Choose a Different Folder just brings up the same save options we had in the past. This just creates more steps and wastes time. To be clear, this dialogue appears when I press SAVE or CTRL S, not when I click on Save As. With the current version (2020.006.20034), these can be hidden but for the current session only. Put an option in settings to hide these interface elements globally.WHY THE FEATURE IS NEEDED
To maximize vertical screen real-estate; as most of the devices these days are shipping with widescreen displays.8 votes

FIX Problem security with Adobe Reader WIN10No reaction when trying to open a .pdf file from a network share available under DFS with a previously running .pdf document locally.
The problem with .pdf files not working properly in correlation with DFS is the Adobe Reader application bug.Bug exist from begin od 2018.Adobe products cannot cope with distributed file systems. The observed bug occurs in WIN SRV 2016 and 2019 systems, and unless it is explicitly stated anywhere that the reason is the change in the SMB authentication method, this is indicated by (logically) the AR logs.this is a link to a thread on this topic https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/can-only-open-1-pdf-at-a-time-from-dfs-server/m-p/10889532?page=3#M62593 The bug only occurs in Adobe applications, previous signals about Edge / other browsers have not been confirmed in tests. .Pdf documents in other applications work correctly at the moment. The workaround is to disable protected mode in Adobe Reader but our security department does not recommend such a solutionNo reaction when trying to open a .pdf file from a network share available under DFS with a previously running .pdf document locally.

One button is too bad.Dear sir/madam, I use a lot of PDF files for my job. However, the version I use is 2015.020.20039. Because in recent releases, the buttons "Fit to window width and enable scrolling", "Fit one full page to window" and "View file in read mode" have been turned into one button. I have to open this button on every time. This is an extremely difficult use. Please give us the option of these buttons as single buttons as before. Thank you so much. Murat Akpinar 1 vote

auto scroll loopAuto scroll and speed choise are great but when the pdf arrives at the end and you want to see it many times you have to go again at the beginning and choose auto scrool.I suggest to implement the feature for the document to automatically loop and play over and over until you decide to stop it. Windows Media player has a repeat feature and power point also.I would like the same for acrobat reader.
It would be great for educational purposes to repeat the same information until it is memorised.(REPETITION IS THE MOTHER OF RETENTION..)
It seems from the link below that also other persons need the same feature.I think it is very easy for your experiened programmers to implement it.I urge you to do so.

Ability to completely turn off collapsed sidebarsPlease for goodness' sake give users the option to completely remove the left and right sidebars instead of merely collapsing them. For users using Reader, the vast majority of the time all they will want to do is only read a PDF, and many will want as much screen space as possible to do so. For the average Reader user, in the left toolbar the only thing they may want is thumbnail or chapter view. This could be on the top toolbar, with the other options available on a drop down menu from that button if you really must keep them there. The right toolbar, meanwhile, is completely redundant with the "Tools" pane. Being made up of options for creating and editing, these merely get in the way for Reader users who just want to read. The collapsed bar can easily be clicked mistakenly when attempting to scroll, and when a PDF hides the scrollbar (which there doesn't seem to be an easy way to either disable or re-enable), the collapsed bar will likely be mistaken for the scrollbar period. I understand that these are considered 'features', but for many users they are merely an inconvenience. In many, many other programs, side toolbars are dockable and can be moved or closed. There are so many other options on how it could've been implemented that aren't so aggravating. Please either use one, or give users the option to completely disable them.
