1. Better update procedures for automation needed!

   We see in the last month/year a much bader update experience for reader than before. The formerly usable ftp-server is not actual anymore:
   ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/AcrobatDC/
   And we see lots of customers where the function "Search for updates" inside Reader is GONE - even a clean NEW installation does not show it anymore! So what can be done if this position is gone in the help menu? And how can update enrollment be done better (actually we get the ARM folder on an updated PC and deply this packet afterwards, but this only works incremental - and if one version is missing between it hangs of course).

   Hope for ideas/informations ;-)

2. Pin the "digitally sign" button or "certificates" toolbar to the tools menu on the right hand side

   Could you please allow users to pin one or both of the above options to the tool menu, or the top ribbon, to allow one-touch use of this feature. It's such a commonly used feature to be buried under 2+ clicks.

3. Backwards and forwards arrows for hyperlinks

   It would be useful to have arrows like in web browsers to move smoothly in documents with cross-references and bookmarks.
   I am a latex user and often in pdfs produced by latex for scientific documents there are hyperlinks for equations, figures and bibliographical references in text. It would be useful in reading, once you have checked the reference to be able to go back.

4. Error message

   After using "Fill & Sign" I get this error message. (See the attached picture.) This error is caused by only one PDF document which is not possible to upload there due to copyright restrictions. (It is a drawing for production.)

5. Blur tool in Photoshop for iPad

   Photoshop for iPad is of great importance especially for natural work with a pencil. Especially with tools like brush, eraser ... But why isn't the "blur" tool available in Photoshop for iPad? This tool is directly designed for the pencil, according to my experience. Would it be possible to supplement it?

6. IE Addon AcroPDF64.dll is missing with Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020 Classic

   There is no 64-Bit IE Addon available with 2020 Classic Reader. Could you help with updating the package with the 64-Bit IE Addon to have seamless access when accessing IE with Reader 2020 Classic ?

7. Bugfix

   I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.001.20150. I think you introduced a bug in the latest version, because I can no longer find a way to print double-sided. I'm using an HP Envy 4500 printer, which certainly does support double-sided printing, and I've used Acrobat Reader for years, but lately I can no longer print double-sided. When I press Properties in the print dialog box, that choice no longer appears.

8. Always Show Comment Tools

   Please make an Always Show Comments Bar option. I work with the stamp, shape and text box tools on many PDFs daily. I have to open the comments toolbar for each one of them. While it's a small thing to do on one PDF, it gets old fast when it must be done for each of many PDFs every day.

10. BUG-Adobe Reader DC

    I created a form using Adobe Acrobat 9. I added a java script in the background to alert the user of any fields that were not filled out, including multiple signature lines. I tested the form frequently, using Acrobat 9, pro and reader DC, and it worked perfectly. Now I am getting reports from the users(using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC), that they are getting an error message stating that the signature lines need to be populated when the lines have the signatures inserted already.
    
    All users using the latest version of Adobe Reader DC, this issue occurred after the latest update.

12. Arrow Key Scrolling Incrementation Consistency

    So I have noticed that the arrow key scrolling when using the hand tool has somewhat inconsistent increment sizes. If I press the up or down arrow key once the distance scrolled is about half a line. If I hold down an arrow key to begin the fast scrolling, then let go and continue pressing the arrow keys rapidly, the increment is more like a line and a half.

    I find this inconsistency extremely annoying, especially since the fast scrolling is redundant because of the page jumping that is achievable with the left and right arrow keys, and that the increment for occasional up and down arrow key presses is so uselessly small. This disrupts the reading experience for me.

    I've thought about trying to get around this inconsistency by using other pdf viewers, except that I primarily find myself reading password protected textbooks that are only accessible in Reader. There is Shift-Up/Down arrow key that will jump to the next line not visible, but I find this makes it easy to lose your place in the text. The point is, I want consistent arrow key scrolling incrementation.

    If any changes were to be made to this, I would suggest getting rid of the inconsistent scrolling increments and instead making it adjustable in the settings.

13. Upto spelled incorrectly on Toner saved message

    In Adobe Reader DC version 2021.001.20145 on Windows 10 a message box pops up about percentage of Toner saved. "Upto 15% of Toner has been saved while printing this PDF". The word "Upto" is missing a space.

15. regarding meaning search

    If we don't know meaning of the word while reading in a document then there must be search by web option along with the copy tab or you can simply add Dictionary into Adobe so that it will become more user friendly and more helpful to the person who is in need to search that meaning.

17. BUG: Path starting with \\?\ will fail

    When double clicking a file in Windows Explorer where the path is longer than 260 characters does not work as default. But I have been able to create a workaround that enable this.

    If I type the following in cmd.exe:
    AcroRd32.exe "C:\Very long path\file.pdf" then that will fail.

    If I enable "Enable Win32 long paths" in Group Policy and try the same command, then it works. This means that long paths are supported when it is enabled in Windows.

    I created a bat-file like this:
    set str=%1
    set str=%str:\?=%
    AcroRd32.exe %str%

    This will remove \?\ from the first argument and launch AcroRd32.exe with the trimmed argument.

    I changed the registry key HKEYCLASSESROOT\AcroExch.Document.DC\shell\Read\command\ to use this bat-file. And now it works!

    It looks like the problem is that Acrobat Reader does not understand if the path start with \?\ but Windows will add this to the start of long filenames.

       When doing research for university, I often open many tabs at once. Sometimes books in pdf document form from my local file system. When closing google chrome and reopening on the other day, the document opens up at the first page. It would be nice if a) the document keeps its position when closing the browser and reopening, or b) via an #[pagenumber] at the end of the URI in the browser I can navigate to specific pages, especially on browser reopening - like on websites when jumping to another anchor item via this function.

20. Hand tool on touchscreen suggestions

    Hello,

    It would be nice to have the hand tool navigation on touchscreens include options for continuous pinch zoom (at the time of writing, the app zooms in steps) and momentum scrolling.

    These features already work using a MacBook touchpad (for example).
