The original issue reported in the main thread is resolved by giving a preference for checkbox in the latest release. The other issue reported by Ian Davis is under our radar and we will let the user know if we pick it for future release.

Select the text box, right click and select Arrange → Bring to Front.

With the new adobe, I have to do 5 steps before I get my pdf in the appropriate reading window. Step One is CLOSING ALL TOOLS, nothing in all tools is ever used, so I do not understand why it pops up on my left.
