New Display is HORRIBLE
New layout for Adobe is horrible!
Why did Adobe change something that wasn't broken?
All of the icons/buttons used to be along the top ribbon of the screen and now there's some on the left, some on the right and some on the top. And now I can't even find some (for example insert text box and take a snapshot) that I use constantly.
I had everything customized as I use Adobe constantly in my job and now this is causing me a lot of unnecessary stress.
Adobe should offer their customers the option of reverting back to the old display.

Thank you Noman - you just saved me from constant frustration. Appreciate it! So nice to have the old view and tools and functionality back (even just to have copy and paste back between two PDFS is amazing for my use.)

Hi Em, while I understand a new UI comes up with some of its learning curve but it has certain advantages over the previous one such as discoverability, fluidity, connected experience and others.
I would like to suggest to please go through the guide which captures what all has changed in this new UI https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/learn-new-acrobat.html
to onboard faster. Also,Besides this, please let me know specifically what are you trying to achieve in the new UI and you're finding it difficult to find/perform. Will take a deeper look into that specifically and help you find it in the new UI or fix it at our end if it's a bug/miss in new UI.
Will also request to update to the latest version of Acrobat from Help>Check for updates, where we have incorporated some of the feedbacks provided in v1 such as SDI mode, some crash& performance related fixes and so on!

Please add your ideas there and hopefully we can get a better, more useful interface.

What's not to like:
- Tiny blurred icons
- Floating toolbar in document area
- Cannot dock toolbar in horizontal area (where it used to be
- Tabs and other controls in the window titlebar
- All previous customizations blown away on upgradeThis UI refresh seems to value vertical space at the expense of horizontal content space. I can see some benefit for small laptops but vertical space was never an issue if you had a larger screen - can't you accomodate both? Firefox and many other apps manage this as a user setting.
Also the monochrome icons are too small and have no text - made even worse by the long delay in tooltips appearing.

This new layout is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! I have to use it constantly in my law firm and I am the reason we even have it for my law firm and now I'm looking at having to change services because this new POS interface causes it to freeze upon opening 98% of my documents or it will freeze within about 2 minutes (give or take) and I cannot keep working like this. I have used Adobe Acrobat heavily for the past 15 years and I cant' believe I'm facing having to get rid of it because of this HORRIBLE new interface.
For the love of all you hold dear, Adobe please change it back or allow users to customize and set defaults. I cannot afford to keep wasting my precious client's time or my time trying to do the most basic of functions. -

It hard to describe how much I hate this interface. I have to look all over the place for every function. They are scattered and I have to relearn how to use the tool from scratch. Such a pain **********. Why not just move to a new cheaper tool if I am forced to relearn it anyway?

It's one thing to have a horrible new layout, it's another thing to not allow it to be customized. OK, fine, go ahead and push out your glossy new version with your wizbang ideas, but allow me to move the toolbar layout around. Even Microsoft allowed that to happen with the taskbar when they got the stupid idea of putting it in the middle of the screen. But with Windows, I can make it all better.
