User Interface and Navigation Layout is terrible
I HATE the new layout of the Acrobat PRO, it is the most frustrating layout. I have been using Acrobat for YEARS and everytime there is an update it gets worse and worse. There is nothing intuitive about the layout of the tools or that you have icons with no words to express what they stand for. I liked having the menu bar across the top. Please at least give us an option of how to go back to the old style! My workflow is constantly interrupted to have to figure things out!

The Adobe bastards are on a mass thread-closing rampage as we speak.
In just the past hour, I've received about a dozen notifications from this Bhawna Arora person smugly announcing that they're closing each corresponding thread due to "no further activity or updates from users."
Words fail to capture the sheer insolence and contempt Adobe is showing towards its users here. This company and its so-called customer service are a grotesque travesty.
For those who want to dig deeper into this ongoing farce:

Hi Lori, Peter and all, while we understand new UI comes with a learning curve, I will suggest to please go through this post once and see if it helps to learn new UI.
https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/learn-new-acrobat.htmlBesides this, is there any issue or bug you're observing in functionality of tools/workflows in the UI, please let me know, will get it prioritised. Thanks for your consistent feedback.
In the past we have gone through multiple feedbacks and incorporated the same in our new UI, to quote some examples are: ability to relocate the position of quick tool bar,
Preference to remember current state of Tools pane in Reader, Pinning of Tools in right rail for customisation of page display and navigation tools, Customization of tools in All tools pane in left hand pane, Added “Menu” label to hamburger, Undo/Redo option in Top Bar , Upfront Dismiss/Skip option on first launch onboarding coach marks and so on..Your feedback matters a lot and we genuinely try to fix specific issues reported. Thanks!

Isn't it something -- everybody is screaming that the new interface is a POS. and The Company comes back and says, "Sorry you don't like it. You'll just have to get used to it."
I know there are a lot of Acrobat "knock offs" out there. Can anyone suggest one?
And this Feedback forum sucks too!

We appreciate your valuable feedback! We're always looking for ways to make Acrobat better, and we appreciate the time and effort you have taken to share your feedback with us.
We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you are able to be more productive & get more out of Acrobat.
With the new interface we aim to
1.Provide a simplified viewing experience that helps reduce clutter & optimise it for most used PDF actions that are relevant while viewing a document.
2. Easily allow users to discover PDF tools they need by ensuring tools are intuitively grouped and a click away,
**For example, all tools that allow content, page & file level edits can be found under one action based verb called “Edit”; tools that allow converting files to & from PDFs can be found under “Convert”; tools that allow filling & signing documents or requesting signatures from others under “Sign”.
3. Most importantly, the new interface enables users to effortlessly move between different PDF tools to complete their document related tasks
**For example, someone viewing comments in a PDF should also be able to easily edit the text of it without interrupting their workflow
**A user can seamlessly perform page level edits such as reordering, inserting, extracting, rotating or deleting pages while editing content and/or commenting on the file
We would also like to highlight that we have exhaustively tested these changes with users over the past 12 months, keenly monitoring user behaviour & addressing top user issues before gradually rolling out the new interface to the Acrobat user base
A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have ensured all tools & features that are currently supported, retain their familiar functionalities and workflows as they did in the previous version. We are proactively addressing any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows.
We will follow up on this response with a detailed blog post explaining the changes, a guide to help familiarise you to the new interface, along with regular updates on upcoming changes.
Thank you once again for your feedback, and do look forward to our upcoming releases !

if you go to Menu, you can select ""Disable new Acrobat". It switches it back to the normal layout
