Bookmark UI is too narrow
Its balloon UI is too small, long bookmark names does not fit into the balloon UI's width.
It requires clicking into several "folders" in order to access a nested bookmark entry. It'd be better to have them expanded by default (which would require the point 1 to be addressed).
Personally I am happy with a UI for browsing bookmarks of pdf as implemented in an app called "kybook 3"

Black background
It seems really odd that you don’t have a simple feature/option to view PDFs on a black background ... the lighter color is distracting when pages crop.

Please add Tabs for viewing multiple documents
Since I exclusively use my iPad for study purposes, there are lots of pdf's I have to work on at the same time. Ability to open multiple pdf's in tabs at the same time would be very beneficial for me rather than having to go back and open another document.
The feature is available in windows so why not make it available in ios too. :)226 votes -

The current minimum iOS requirement is iOS 11.2. If you have an older iOS version, you will not be able to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader.
Here are a couple of options that you can try.
(a) Update iOS on your iPad/iPhone
If you have a relatively new iPad/iPhone (e.g. iPhone 5s/SE or later OR iPad Air 1st gen. or later), you should be able to update to iOS 12.1. After updating iOS to the latest version, you can now install the latest version of Acrobat Reader.
(b) Download the last compatible (not the latest) version of Acrobat Reader
When you go to the App Store app on your iPad/iPhone and try to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader, do you see the alert with the title “Download an older version of this app?” and the Download option?
If so, you can choose the Download option from…

Reading progress and mark as read
It would be awesome if Acrobat would show the reading progress and "read" in the files view. It would me the perfect PDF eBook reader. 😊

upper bar showing automatically during scrolling up
Hello,
First of all, I would like to thank you for your permanent efforts to bring to us new useful features!.
Secondly, I want to share with you my feedback regarding Adobe Reader app, which I’m using on Iphone 6s.
I noticed that after your last upgrade when I scroll upwards automatically the upper bar shows up (the bar containing the search tool, view settings..). It’s really annoying that every time I scroll up this bar shows and hides the upper part of the page I’m reading (the screen isn’t big anyway..). In previous versions this wasn’t the situation; I…6 votesHi – We fixed this in a recent update. You can now use the tap gesture to show / hide the chrome and there is no auto-hiding. Hope you like it! Really appreciate both the positive and constructive feedback!

iPad Air 2 Acrobat Reader APP Lags A Lot
Lag Updating and scrolling through pdfs on iPad Air 2 after updates are accomplished. Takes a long time for the pdfs to load then after loading, the pdfs are opened to read and take a long response time to scroll through the pages.

Night Mode missing from version 18.09.13
With the change to 18.09.13, the night mode viewing option is no longer available iPad - please reinstate this much used feature ( and which is still avialble on Android 18.3)
6 votesThank you for the feedback! We added night mode before iOS added “smart invert colors”. We removed night mode because we thought that our implementation was duplicating OS functionality. We heard loud and clear that users wanted Night Mode, so we added it back in a recent release.
