3. Search failure

   I saved a pdf document beginning with 4 characters “Lesl”. Searching for these 4 characters fails every time. I restored it to Acrobat from Google Drive and its on the list of recently opened files and it is intact. When I search for it, it’s still not there! New since last update, for sure, I search for this file all the time.

7. Set status on comments

   On the desktop version you are able to set a status on a comment (ie accept/reject). It would be very helpful to have the same feature on the mobile app

8. Resizing drawings very difficult in updated version

   Before the comment options tab was moved to the bottom of the screen, resizing drawings was effortless. It’s become frustratingly difficult to resize drawings. I push my drawing around the page for minutes before the drawing box recognizes that I want to resize it. Can you please recover the sensitivity of the corners of drawing (and other resizable) boxes in this newer version?

9. Bookmark UI is too narrow

   1. Its balloon UI is too small, long bookmark names does not fit into the balloon UI's width.

   2. It requires clicking into several "folders" in order to access a nested bookmark entry. It'd be better to have them expanded by default (which would require the point 1 to be addressed).

   Personally I am happy with a UI for browsing bookmarks of pdf as implemented in an app called "kybook 3"

11. Please address the 1,834 Bug Reports and Feature Requests in the desktop version

    As of today, there are 1,834 feature requests and bug reports in the desktop version, and none here for the iOs version. It feels like the desktop version is being hamstrung by what is possible through the web browser. Personally (and I am not alone in this), I would like full functionality in the desktop version, where I actually do my work, as opposed to very limited functionality on the iOS and Document Cloud web sides of things. Why do all the interfaces have to match? Why can't we as users just get the features that we ask for? Your competitors are developing the features that your customers want. I tried out Bluebeam Revu recently and it is AMAZING! Using that software feels like they have gone through the feature requests from all the Acrobat users here on this forum and implemented them all.

12. Add back the auto box fill

    Filling out documents now takes forever as you click on a box and the text box doesn’t go in the box so you need to move it . Also it remember old text you had put on documents. It doesn’t now so takes so much longer , this app has not got a patch on Fill & sign as you can see in the photos, the text box doesn’t go where you press .

13. “auto-fill form fields iPhone.”

    Please bring back the blue auto-fill text suggestions for form fields on iPhone/iPad Acrobat. It made filling out repeating forms and vouchers much faster and more efficient. The feature disappeared after a recent update, and it was one of the most user-friendly parts of the app.

    Hola,

    En mi iPad 10 versión de iPadOs (18.6.2) con Acrobat versión [25.09.00 (20250924.200136)], los comentarios/anotaciones en PDFs no se guardan ni en local ni en Adobe Cloud.
    En PC los mismos PDFs sí guardan correctamente los comentarios editables.
    He reinstalado la app y el problema persiste.

    Por favor, revisen este bug. Ya que por eso adquirí la versión de paga para poder realizar este tipo de operaciones desde el iPad y no lo he podido hacer desde que adquirí dicha versión.

15. Better support for non touch screen input

    For heavens sake, please get past this notion that the iPad is only for users strictly using it with the touch screen. More and more users are using it as a computer work station. This is only going to increase with OS26.

    For example, I am using my ipad right now, hooked up to an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I have completely ditched my MacBook. Yet many of your apps just do not work well with attached input devices. For example, if I want to edit a pdf, I can click the edit button with my mouse, but I CANNOT mouse click on a text box to edit it. I have to now reach up from my mouse to the ipad and touch the text box on the screen. I can edit the text, but if I want to move the cursor location in the text using the keyboard arrows, I cannot. So once again I have to leave my connected keyboard and touch the screen to move the cursor.

    If I want to move an element, again I cannot do it with the attached mouse (or even the touchpad on the Apple magic keyboard attached to the ipad). I again have to abandon the attached mouse, keyboard, trackpad, whatever, and reach up to the iPad which is on a stand next to my monitor, just to move something in the acrobat document.

    Let me state this very clearly so you will understand. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE (AN ISSUE WITH ALMOST ALL OF YOUR IOS APPS). I HAVE ABANDONED USING CC AND HAVE TURNED TO USING OTHER APPS.

    I have been a loyal customer, but you have literally forced me to stop using your software because it is now virtually unusable in my workflow. And I can promise you, this is becoming the case with a growing number of iPad users.

18. Tap to turn page option

    Please add a setting option to enable tap to turn page: tap on the left or right side of the screen to turn forward / back a page. I’m loving the iPad musician life but would love to make pageturns even faster just by tapping instead of getting stuck not dragging my finger far enough across the screen!
