  1. As explained in this post (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/get-rid-of-7-day-trial-after-rotate-from-context-menu-within-plug-in/m-p/12897117#M90403), we'd like to get rid of the pop up when a user clicks on the rotate buttons in the context menu.
In the base Adobe Reader it is possible to use other menu's, but when another piece of software uses the plug in, these menu's aren't available and users are left with either the rotate buttons which generate the pop up, or the only option Rotate to the right.
Please let the rotate buttons in the context menu act without the advert for the 7-day trial.
    TIA!

  2. Dear Adobe support Team. Is rather BUG not Idea.Unfortunately, I noticed that the current 64-bit version of Actrobat Reader doen't handle 3D pdf with animation properly. Previously used versions (like eg. 2015.007.2033) handled these files without any problem. Any suggestions from Adobe or should I look for alternative solutions and resign from promoting solutions based on PDF like eg.HTML for 3D?

  3. Look, I get it. Reader DC is a free product Adobe would love to sell paid products/services. That's absolutely fine. But placing a toolbar button that suggests a basic feature such as rotate view may require the paid version/subscription is disingenuous at best. Seems a bit deceptive when it gets down to it. Not a fan Adobe!

  4. Currently when you open Reader for Windows it prompts you to sign in, even if the PDF you opened has no interactive elements. The only workaround for this - and this unneeded and unrequested sign-in pop-up is much complained about on Adobe forums - is a complicated Windows registry edit.

It would be better if users could control whether or not this sign-in prompt with a preferences setting. Alternately, this pop-up could be made to fire only when a user is trying to accomplish something (e.g. signing) that actually requires them to login. Both of these solutions are better than…

  5. Many times, I am confronted with a text string that needs a search (I generally use Google) and from within Acrobat I must select and copy the text, then go to the browser and search. I know it sounds fundamentally lazy...but these steps if repeated over and over take time. From the Chrome browser, we can select and then right-click text and "Search in Google" is an option. Acrobat is a much richer environment for working with the PDF but then the constant charade (for instance in a legal document with citations) of select, copy, open the browser, open or…

  6. I use Adobe Acrobat DC 64 Bit to sign documents digitally. When I open a previously signed document, and use the document's bookmarks before signing the document myself, all previous signatures are shown to be invalid after signing and saving the PDF. Looks like using bookmarks is handled as document modification, although it is just normal usage.

  7. When I launch READER, which is FREE, I get a Login dialog box that CANT BE CLOSED. There is no Cancel, no Exit, no other button to click that lets me exit the dialog box. The box will not close upon OS closure (clicking the X). The only way to exit is to Force Quit Reader.

  8. MIP – Header and Footer as described by NARA

    1. A feature to insert a header and a footer to every page on a PDF Document based on changes made to the file metadata by the Microsoft Information Protection Plugin.

    2. A feature to change the header based on changes made to the metadata by the Microsoft Information Protection Plugin.

  12. hello, as you know, SHA-224 consists of six functions, 256, 384, 512, 512/224, 512/256, 256 and 512. But it encrypts with adobe acrobat sha 256. In my country, only 256 algorithm is not used. However, only 256 encryptions are made in Adobe. In my country, there are 384 sha encryption generators among the e-signature certificates produced by e-signature companies. I have the sha256 certificate, I can use it, but I cannot use the sha384 certificate. Having a method that supports or selects all sha values in your software will provide a great opportunity for both the development of your software…

  14. Let me repeat honestly because I am exasperated by Adobe's incompetence:
After decades, when Acrobat Reader starts, it still has not figured out how to reopen pdf files at the right page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you justify this BIG problem after so many years of having created Adobe Reader?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us for your query.
This feature is already available in Acrobat Reader. Here is how you can turn that on.

    1) Go to Edit → Preferences → “Documents” Tab
    2) Select the checkbox for “Restore last view settings when reopening documents”

This preference will make sure that your Acrobat reader remembers the last view of the pdf when it was closed and reopened.

    Hope it helps ?

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  17. When I use Adobe the CTRL F search function of Adobe Acrobat DC, I often find it hard to see where on the page the item I'm searching for is being highlighted. The highlighter colour that Adobe uses is a light grey/blue and it simply doesn't stand out enough. Very often, I'm searching for a single character and the documents I'm proofreading such as reports and brochures often have a coloured background, making it even harder to spot that pesky highlighter! It seems so simple to me that there should be a way for users to opt for a bright…

  18. Dear leader, hello, I reported 17 stack exhaustion vulnerabilities to Adobe's security department through hackerone. This type of vulnerabilities have always been given cve numbers and thank you(e.g. CVE-2020-3753/CVE-2020-3756/CVE-2020-9611/CVE-2020-9702/CVE-2020-9703/CVE-2017-16419), but your security department notified me that these 17 bugs that I reported will not be given cve numbers and acknowledgements, I think it is unfair to me. And these 16 vulnerabilities did have an impact on your products, I also made contributions, I deserve the cve number and acknowledgements. Thanks.

  19. Acrobat Reader DC should have a setting similar to Chrome based browsers to "Remember where I left off". Example - I have have 5 tabs for 5 different PDFs I'm reviewing, it would be extremely helpful to be able to shut down the app and have it reopen all 5 tabs again when reopening the app

  20. Since a recent Adobe Acrobat DC update, button styles set in InDesign are no longer working. They still work when the pdf is opened in a browser.

Steps to reproduce the issue: Create a radio button or checkbox in InDesign. Customise the style appearance for the on/off settings (colour, shape, text, removing default checks and dots, etc.). Export to Interactive pdf. Open in Acrobat. Button off styles have now reverted to default style settings. When you click on a button, it briefly shows the correct on style, but once you click off it reverts to the default style again.
